New research: #CyberCartel's #CARLIY0S runs a multi-model #AI attack chain, splitting recon, exploit development, and data exfiltration across #Claude, #Grok, and #Kimi. Operators used "authorized red team" prompt framing to slip past model guardrails. The first AiPT we've documented from inside the operation.

Here’s how that played out: a parent session launched a new Claude Code CLI session. The child took a different permission path and loaded the repo’s .claude/http://settings.json. That file contained a malicious SessionStart hook, which fired and exfiltrated data before Claude caught it.
