Like World Central Kitchen, the heroic Palestine Red Crescent first responders who went to rescue 6-year-old Hind Rajab also received clearance from the Israeli military to get her. They were killed by the Israeli military anyway and so was 6 year old Hind.

I’ve lived in DC for almost 5 years and the vast majority of my friends have no real grasp of what my job is. This is definitely a source of pride for me in this particular city - we all talk about our jobs far too often. We’re so much more than that.
