Seven Cape restaurants. One cricket field. One weekend.
The chefs who cook for visitors from London, New York and Dubai, the ones people book months ahead to sit with, are setting up their kitchens in Green Point on 28 and 29 November and cooking for the people who live here.
The first seven restaurants confirmed for Taste of Cape Town 2026:
🍽 La Colombe: James Gaag
🍽 FYN: Peter Tempelhoff and Ashley Moss
🍽 Basson & Co.: Bertus Basson
🍽 Upper Union: Amori Burger
🍽 EDGE: Vusi Ndlovu
🍽 Vuur: Shaun Scrooby
🍽 Amura: Arlind Harizaj
Between them they hold the country’s major restaurant awards and have carried the Cape’s name onto the world’s best restaurant lists. In November they cook fifty metres apart from Taste pop up kitchens, each serving two Signature Dishes and one Taste Exclusive Dish you will not find anywhere else.
