@shanhumanrights reports that Chinese/Wa-run lead mine is Myanmar’s Shan State is leaching dangerous waste into the Mekong watershed.
Worker conditions at the mine are extremely dangerous and unregulated, with accidents reportedly killing at least 20 workers being hushed up by local authorities.
