A new book alleges the UAE paid Jared Kushner $50 million to help get a U.S. secretary of state fired. Kushner calls it "completely insane, categorically false." The Oversight Committee can subpoena the bank records and settle it. It hasn't asked. newrepublic.com/post/217201/…

8 months of Trump’s illegal Iran war. 8 months of rising prices. 8 months of endangering our troops. 8 months of lies. Democrats have forced 14 votes to end this madness. Republicans have voted to keep it going every single time.

For eight months, American families have been buried by the heavy cost of Trump’s disastrous war in Iran.   Twenty-one servicemembers have died and hundreds more have been wounded. Prices are skyrocketing, and families are struggling to make ends meet. Meanwhile, Republicans continue to look the other way.   Democrats have given Republicans 14 chances to hold Trump accountable and end this reckless war. Republicans continue to refuse and ignore the cruel reality.     Trump and his ego led us into this war with no plan, no authority, and no exit strategy. Senate Democrats will continue to do everything in our power to end this disaster of a war and stop the costs, chaos, and corruption seeping from the White House.

Trump was asked who the 250-foot arch is for. "Me. Going to be beautiful." $15 million in humanities money — the kind that funds libraries and museums — is reserved for it. Construction can start Nov 5. Two days after you vote. cbsnews.com/news/arc-de-trum…

Todd Blanche botched the Epstein cover-up, and he’s still not releasing the files. Survivors deserve answers. It’s time to get more aggressive, and that starts with winning the majority.

The Justice Department opened a criminal investigation into Corey Lewandowski. He advised DHS for free while, investigators are examining, allegedly asking companies to pay him. The thread runs through a $220 million self-deportation ad contract. James Comer has said nothing.

There have been zero public hearings on the Epstein case. When we take back Congress, we’re going to change that. Hundreds of millions of dollars moved through these banks. Who was paying for Epstein’s crimes? We will get to the truth.

‘BREAKTHTAKINGLY IMPROPER.’ Trump bought a Florida golf course for $5 million. He is on track to write off $825 million by donating its development rights — a tax shelter landscaped to look like charity. Then his own Justice Department settled his lawsuit against the IRS.

For years, Corey Lewandowski used his connections to Trump to enrich himself. At DHS, he turned government access into a pay-to-play operation.  I'm glad the DOJ is finally investigating, but it’s too little too late. Trump’s DOJ has turned a blind eye to the corruption of this Administration.

The public, through its elected officials, has the right to evaluate whether individuals meet the qualifications and ethical standards for government positions. Jared Kushner and the Trump admin have denied us that right. That's unacceptable and illegal. ms.now/opinion/jared-kushner…

This is the latest in a series of serious allegations that Jared Kushner has been selling foreign policy to the highest bidder. He needs to answer these questions before the American people.
“In late spring 2020, a source I knew to be reliable called me with a story,” writes Matthew Cole. “The Dutch government had hacked into Jared Kushner’s phone and monitored him as he accessed a Dubai-based bank account. What was odd, the source said, was that the money in the account—hundreds of millions of dollars—had come from a bank in Azerbaijan. Most importantly, Kushner appeared to have transferred significant amounts of money from the Dubai account to other individuals, including a warlord, a mercenary and a one-time hit man. The story sounded preposterous, I told my source. And yet. Six months later, I found myself speaking with someone else about the UAE government and their use of mercenaries in conflicts around the Middle East and Africa when I asked, on a whim, whether they knew anything about Kushner and bank transfers from a UAE account. My acquaintance grew quiet. Then they replied, ‘Yes.’” Kushner’s lawyer denied the bank account existed.
