I think it's easy to be critical from the outside looking in, but here's a humble suggestion for @hedera. In my view there was one single point where Hedera lost the momentum and direction it was going in that was crucial in building a community around it. Luckily this is something I believe could easily be gotten back. It was when Hashgraph (swirlds) left the parent organisation which meant the founders and visionaries in Leemon and Mance were no longer at the helm. This coincideded with a reduction in leadership regularly communicating clearly with the ecosystem on what their goals, plans, and aspirations were. It can't be overstated how important that one thing can be to an ecosystem in it's growth stage or any stage for that matter. At one point the there were regular, monthly updates in the form of video interviews that gave the HBAR community insight into where we were going directly from the founders and visionaries. When Hashgraph split off into a different entity, that stopped and it created a void where the ecosystem didn't have that crucial element anymore. The issue to me isn't necessarily that founders have to be the leaders forever. If it was deemed more valuable for Mance and Leemon to focus on work within Hashgraph that can make a lot of sense. It's that nothing was put in place to take the place of regular, frequent acommunication from leadership that distilled vision and plans for the ecosystem. With that said, I think Leemon and Mance have a unique ability to share vision and roadmap in a way that rallies community, so they're not easily replaced on that front. In short, rebuild the institution of regular fireside downloads from leadership and I think it goes a long way.
