💡 Not all screen time is created equal. 💡
A common concern among parents and district leaders is device (and screen-time, in general) overload. 📱🤯
But the issue is not simply "screens or no screens"; it's what students are doing behind them.
❌ Passive Screen Time: Scrolling social media, watching endless video clips, or clicking through passive quizzes. Time on an app that leads to minimal learning advantages.
✅ Active Creation Time: Scripting a story, recording a podcast, editing a green-screen presentation, or designing interactive media. FULL cognitive engagement, creativity unlocked!
When students use @WeVideo, their screen time becomes a digital sandbox. They exercise agency, problem-solving, unleash creativity and practice digital literacy.
Screen time should not mean turning brains off, it should mean turning creativity on! 🎨
