53 years. Plenty of scars. Still standing. I talk about men, women, family, work, loyalty, failure, relationships, responsibility, and the things people usually wait until they’re alone to admit. No guru bullshit. No performance. Just hard earned perspective and real conversation. Built by work. Shaped by miles. Told straight. Welcome to Jack, Unfiltered. Let’s get it on.

More White men are starting to feel like strangers in the country they built. Their masculinity is questioned, their pride is labeled, and their grievances are dismissed. This, is about that.

America doesn't need another fighting age third world, witless window licking rapist to help destroy our country, our reputation, or our status. What it needs is proud White men to take it back, slam the gates shut and take out the trash. Let's get it on!

Republicans keep chasing new voting blocs while ignoring the White Americans who worked, served, built, paid, voted, and stayed loyal for decades. You do not rebuild trust by replacing people. You rebuild it by fixing what broke it.

If Orwell’s 1984 and Idiocracy had a baby, handed it a smartphone, taught it to chase engagement, and put it in charge of the narrative, 2026 might look something like this. Satire. Mostly. Jack

There’s a White man out there who did what he was told. He worked, paid his bills, raised his kids, stayed out of trouble, showed up when people needed him, and taught his son to work hard, get educated, keep his word, and build a life worth being proud of. Then somewhere along the way, the ground started moving underneath him. His paycheck stopped going as far. Groceries got ridiculous. Insurance went up. Repairs cost more. Good jobs got harder to find. His kid did everything right and still ended up back home wondering what the hell he missed. Everywhere he looks, somebody is telling him things are going great and opportunity is everywhere. Meanwhile, he’s deciding which bill can wait until Friday. The truck needs work, but it still runs, so that gets pushed another month. The insurance renewal shows up and somehow costs more for the same damn coverage. He opens the electric bill, stares at it for a second, and puts it back on the counter like maybe the number will be different later. Then he watches his son walk back upstairs to the same bedroom he slept in as a kid because another week went by without a callback. That bothers him more than anything happening to him. He isn’t asking anybody to save him. He wants to work. His son wants to work. He wants to pay his own way, keep his family safe, stay ahead of the bills, help his kids get farther than he did, and have enough breathing room left at the end of the month to feel like all those years of work actually meant something. That used to sound less like a dream and more like normal life. Now a lot of people are starting to wonder when normal became something they were supposed to feel guilty for wanting. That doesn’t automatically make them bitter, lazy, or stupid. It means they’re paying attention. And if enough decent, productive people start believing that getting up every morning, doing the right thing, and carrying their own weight doesn’t get their family anywhere anymore, we have a much bigger problem than an election cycle, a bad quarter, or whatever happens to be screaming from the television this week. We can survive hard times. We’ve done it forever. What gets dangerous is when the people doing the work stop believing there’s any damn point to it. So maybe the question isn’t why some people are angry. Maybe the better question is: What are we giving them to believe in? Jack

Happy foggy Friday morning! Going to be a busy day here at Jack, Unfiltered, but first; COFFEE. Fog’s still hanging low, the dogs are awake, and the day can wait just long enough for the first cup to do its job. Then we get after it. Have a good Friday, folks. Let's get it on!

A lot of people are asking the same question right now: What happens next? I’ve lived long enough to know that uncertainty makes people do strange things. They panic. They predict. They pick sides before they have facts. They let somebody else’s move decide their next one. I’ve been through enough storms, failures, political swings, bad economies, good economies, wars, scares, and supposedly world ending moments to know something else: You rarely get to control what happens next. You do get to control what condition it finds you in. Know what matters to you. Keep your family close. Keep your finances in order. Pay attention. Question what you hear. Stay capable. Keep your temper attached to your judgment. And don’t surrender tomorrow because today got loud. You don’t have to predict every move. You just need to be ready to make yours count. Let's get it on!

Good morning. Happy Thursday, people. Age brings a certain calm to fluid situations and radically changing environments; a perspective younger folks can’t always understand, especially when things get exciting. Be annoyed. Be angry. But don’t react without a plan. We’ve been here before, many times throughout our short, trivial history. We’ve survived storm after storm, war after war, and every political event in between. There’s an uncomfortable, hidden reality mixed into human nature: a behavioral cycle, an unbroken guarantee that this shit will indeed be revisited. The key to not overreacting is understanding your opposition, their goals, tactics, and strategies. You have to remember, in many ways, life is a game of strategy. Your next move matters. Make it count. Don’t let their last move drag you down. We’re still in it to win it. Now coffee. ☕️

Not everybody at the table needs to know your business. Your marriage, money, plans, problems, next move; some things lose value the more people you hand them to. I’ve learned that being open and being careless are two different things. You don’t have to hide your life. You just need to understand which parts belong in which rooms. What’s interesting is how differently people draw that line. One person calls it privacy. Another calls it secrecy. Somebody else thinks closeness means they should have access to everything. That’s usually where the trouble starts.

Good morning, it’s hump day! I don’t need a motivational speech. I need coffee, ten quiet minutes, and for every joint in my body to finish negotiating with gravity. After that, civilization has a fighting chance. Didn't expect that did you! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 Have a good one, folks.

Some jobs teach you pretty quickly that confidence and competence are not the same thing. A machine doesn’t care how certain you sound. Weather doesn’t care. Fire doesn’t care. Numbers don’t care. The real world has a nasty habit of grading you on whether you actually know what you’re doing. That’s why I respect people who learn their craft, ask questions when they don’t know, and keep getting better long after nobody is handing out gold stars or participation trophies. Learn things that still work when nobody is impressed.

Good Tuesday morning. According to the dogs, the morning perimeter inspection is complete. Squirrels remain suspicious, breakfast was apparently several years late, and somehow I’m personally responsible for both. Coffee’s hot. Tuesday is underway. Let’s get it on.

I’ve lived through enough chaos to have a strange appreciation for boring. Bills handled. Vehicles start. Dogs are healthy. Wife is laughing. Nothing’s on fire. Phone isn’t bringing bad news. A younger version of me might have called that uneventful. These days, I call it a damn good day. Build. Chase things. Improve. Want more from yourself. Just don’t get so addicted to noise that you stop recognizing peace when it finally shows up.

Good Monday morning. Coffee’s hot. House is quiet. Monday’s already making its list of demands. Before the noise starts, I want to leave something here. I wrote a longer piece last night called “The Men Carrying More Than They Say.” It’s about the men who keep showing up, keep working, keep fixing, keep carrying, and rarely tell anybody what the weight is actually costing them. A lot of men don’t need another speech. Sometimes they just need somebody to notice. If that sounds familiar, take a few minutes and read it. buymeacoffee.com/_jackunfilt… Have a good Monday, folks. Let’s get it on.

Success is a funny thing. Most of the time, somebody else is keeping score. Money. Titles. Followers. Stuff. Whatever looks impressive from across the fence. Satisfaction is different. That’s whether you can sit quietly with your own life and not feel like you’re constantly trying to prove something. I still want to build. Still want to improve. Still have plenty I’m chasing. But I’ve learned there’s a big difference between wanting more and believing what you already have will never be enough. At the end of the day, a quiet house, good dogs, something good to eat, and knowing the people you love are okay is a pretty damn successful life to me.

You can spend years fighting with yesterday. Replaying what happened. Who screwed you. What you should’ve done differently. What somebody else should’ve done. I’ve done enough of that to know it doesn’t build a damn thing. At some point, you have to turn around and start working on what comes next. New habits. Better people. Different decisions. Another road. And pay attention to who’s around you while you’re doing it. Some people want solutions. Others need the problem to stay alive because complaining about it has become their whole personality. Choose your company accordingly.
