For many women, the day starts before sunrise: a walk for water, or a search for a safe, private toilet.
Our WASH financing monitoring work shows how affordable finance helps households build toilets and cut water-collection time, giving women privacy, safety and time back.
In Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh, drones are changing farming. 🌾 Spraying an acre by hand takes 3–4 hours; a drone does it in 5–8 minutes.
But the real story is the farmers. Their stories, coming soon 👇

The good news is that fixing it doesn't always mean collecting more. Often it means respecting the data people already gather, by connecting it, making sense of it, and putting it back in the hands of those who can use it.
That's the work we care about at Athena Infonomics.
If you work in health, we'd love to hear from you: when did data last help you make a better decision? Or when did it arrive too late to matter?
We've explored these challenges in more detail in our blog.

Ask a frontline health worker how much time they spend filling in registers and reports, and the answer might surprise you. Now ask how often that information comes back to them in a way that helps their work.
That second answer is usually much shorter.
Every day, nurses, community health workers and lab teams record information carefully and on time. But somewhere between the clinic & the planning office, much of its value gets lost. It arrives late, sits in separate systems, or never turns into something a manager can act on.
The best measure of our work? What our partners say once it’s done.
Thank you, Just Rights for Children, BORDA and TeamLease Foundation, for your kind words and your trust.
