#WATCH | Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh: Rakesh Pande, Former President of the Allahabad High Court Bar Association, says, "Yesterday, in Courtroom 49—presided over by Justice Ajay Bhanot—a police officer had been summoned to appear. The judge has a specific practice in his courtroom: he reserves a particular chair for the official summoned to appear. It seems a lawyer, perhaps unaware of this, sat in that very chair. Subsequently, he was asked—on the instructions of the judge—to vacate it, as it was reserved. It appears he did get up. Later, the government counsel complained to the judge about the incident. The judge then addressed the lawyer, and ultimately, the lawyer—who had occupied the chair—was told to apologize to the police officer... The matter escalated further, and subsequent exchanges led many to feel that the dignity and self-respect of the legal practitioners had been compromised by the court’s actions.
Following yesterday’s incident, the newly elected president and secretary of our executive committee responded by informing the Chief Justice. They requested that action be taken, stating that otherwise, they would boycott this particular courtroom. This morning at AM—likely while discussions about boycotting the court were underway—a large number of people had gathered. When the judge arrived, some exchanges took place, and subsequently, incidents of vandalism occurred inside the courtroom. I must say that such behavior is improper and entirely inappropriate..."
#WATCH | Singapore: An Indian-origin local says, "I've been here for almost 25 years now. I am originally from Calcutta. Diwali here is very different. It's more vibrant and more colorful. Less sound, as you see in India. Right from September beginning till the end of November, you'd see streets like this buzzing...no crackers arev allowed here."
#WATCH | Anmol Bishnoi Baba Siddique murder case | Mumbai: Advocate Pradeep Kharat says, "The police were given until today to inform the court about what steps have been taken to bring Anmol Bishnoi to this court, and they presented the report accordingly... Under Section 303 of the BNSS, the Central Government has placed a restriction on his removal from Tihar Jail. However, this does not mean that the police cannot seek his custody if the need arises. In this case, the police must approach the NIA court in Delhi, where Anmol Bishnoi is currently in custody, requesting that Anmol Bishnoi be produced before the MCOCA court in Mumbai on the date of the next hearing..."
He also says, "We feel that they are not handling this matter properly. It seems as though they do not want Anmol Bishnoi to be produced before this court alongside the other accused, or perhaps they intend to delay his interrogation..."
#WATCH | Delhi | On Nitin Nabin-led BJP Padyatra, Congress leader Pawan Khera says, "When we come out on the streets, they can't tolerate it... and then they come out on the streets themselves and say 'you shouldn't come out on the streets', as if coming out on the streets is apparently only the government's right..."

#WATCH | Dehradun | After attending the two-day Assembly session in Bhararisain (Gairsain), Chamoli, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami covers the 150-kilometer journey from Srinagar (Pauri Garhwal) to Dehradun by road.
En route, the Chief Minister is interacting with local residents and taking direct feedback on various government initiatives and development schemes.
Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka called upon all state government employees to enhance their understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in line with evolving technological advancements and use it effectively in their day-to-day work. He urged employees to make the best use of the AI training being provided under the aegis of the Planning Department and TG MATH to strengthen their modern technological skills.
He emphasized that the use of AI should not only accelerate work in government offices but also ensure the timely resolution of common citizens’ problems. The time saved in offices must be returned to the public in the form of better services. He asserted that the positive changes brought about in people’s lives should be the true benchmark for the use of AI.
The Deputy Chief Minister inaugurated the ‘AI Saksham’ programme, organised by TG MATH with the support of the Planning Department, at the MCR HRD Institute in Hyderabad and addressed the gathering. He said the programme aims to enhance the capabilities of government employees and make the administrative system more efficient. He urged employees to keep pace with technological advancements and apply the skills acquired through training to deliver better services to the public.
Bhatti Vikramarka stated that AI tools could help government employees complete routine administrative tasks more quickly and efficiently. AI can save time in identifying government orders, preparing reports, analysing information and presenting details in a simple and easily understandable manner for the public. He encouraged employees to participate actively in the training and learn how to use AI tools in ways suited to their respective responsibilities.
He said the benefits of technology should translate into tangible improvements in citizens’ everyday lives. For instance, a farmer’s application should be processed faster, a pensioner should receive clear information about the benefits due to them, and citizens should no longer have to make repeated visits to government offices to get their work done. He advised employees to use the time saved through AI to examine public grievances more carefully and improve the quality of services.
