More than $5B extracted from Binance today in a massive hack. The scale of this attack is absolutely insane. Just imagine the logistics of trying to launder that much money. This feels more like a statement than a cash grab.
This is a big part of why we shut down Pacaswap last month. We knew we couldn’t keep defending it in the face of rapidly accelerating AI capabilities.
Credit to Binance for covering all the losses.
We are working non-stop to resolve this issue. Binance will cover all losses.
As a precaution, all deposits and withdrawals are temporarily suspended while our team conducts security checks, freezes funds, and works with law enforcement.
We are working around the clock and will share a full post-mortem once the investigation is complete. Please rely only on official Binance channels for updates.

The median ER visit in America runs 162 minutes. One New York City hospital's ER has averaged 23.5 hours for a patient to get an actual bed, sustained for three straight years, not a one-time bad night.
The industry's response has mostly been to post the wait time on a website or a billboard, treating disclosure as the fix instead of the cause.
