🎉 A burst of colour: digitalconcerthall.com/conce… Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 4 offers a striking contrast to the predominantly gloomy and subdued character of his late work. Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Leif Ove Andsnes, and the Berliner Philharmoniker performed the piece in 2017.

Die Berliner Philharmoniker trauern um Herbert Blomstedt, der am 4. November im Alter von 99 Jahren gestorben ist. Vor allem als einer der großen Bruckner-Interpreten machte er sich einen Namen. Aber auch durch seine warme Ausstrahlung hat er beeindruckt.
