Today I'm taking over as CEO of @PioneersGG
For the past year and a half I've poured my soul into this team. We've built a support staff that's grown into a real team, championship rosters, and a content side that actually breathes.
I want to personally thank @markjosey, @samvkulikov, and @Reflex2G for trusting me to keep steering this ship in the right direction. I've learned an unfathomable amount from them about leadership, about running a business in the most honest way even when it costs you, and about when to be patient instead of loud.
Same mission. More throttle.

This doesn't make sense
The elevator coming off is probably the end of this not the start. They are mass balanced against flutter but only up to the designed speed (they were over 20,000 fpm) ... Ice behind the hinge line makes it worse.

This is incredibly sad. I do consider myself a SME for aviation - degree in aviation sciences and many years as a USAF Crew Chief.
From the ATC audio it sounds like they were dealing with partial freeze conditions... when they hit the precipitation they needed to climb to avoid (the freeze again)
When she pulls back to go up, the heavily iced wing stalls first because the ice would lower the angle at which the wing stalls... that wing drops hard, airplane rolls to the 60 degree bank she mentions. Which creates the nose down attitude.
Then once your nose down, in the clouds, flying by instrument only (the crew was in IMC)... over speed and mach tuck... it's already over 😓
RIP, what a sad tragedy. I love aviation with all my heart and things like this hurt our community so much.

We sent an email to a Game Developer asking if they’d be interested in supporting Military Veterans through @RegimentGG, and this was the response we got.. 😂
Sadly, this happens quite often. We've been told dozens of times that companies won't support us because they don’t like the Military.
We will keep showing up for our Veterans every day though!
