So, quietly giving illegal aliens status in New Mexico. That's what you get when you vote Democrat.
Attention New Mexicans: this bill should make you soil your shorts. While our state and blue-collar workers scrape by just to live here, funding, benefits, and a fake nationality are being handed out to replace you.
Last week, Gov. Lujan Grisham and NM Democrats threw a fit when Trump trolled them about renaming the state "New America." Yet 7 months ago, MLG quietly signed HB 124—creating the "NEW AMERICANS DIVISION" inside Workforce Solutions and rewriting state law to call non-citizens "new Americans."
Shoutout to @adams_jr7, @GooseRox505 and @Mhaas55262778 for bird-dogging this bill. We pulled the receipts, the floor votes, and a brand-new FY28 budget filing—and the data they flagged is 100% ACCURATE. In fact, it’s even worse than it looks:
⁉️ House Democrats killed Rep. Angelita Mejia's amendment to insert the word "lawfully" before "residing"
⁉️ Workforce Solutions just quietly requested $750,000 in taxpayer money for FY28 (tripling the $250K estimate they gave lawmakers)
⁉️ Page 8 of the new budget filing admits the division is for foreign workers including "individuals in other statuses"
All while 30 of 33 NM counties drown in poverty, 90,276 local kids live below the poverty line, and 32,000 NM youth sit out of school and work

People do forget. People don't even remember that this bill was passed through a trick procedure while Scott Brown (who had taken Ted Kennedy's seat in a special election) was driving to Washington to vote to defeat the bill. Never forget.

BREAKING: The feds are in possession of Rep. Ilhan Omar's (D-MN) DNA and personal passport as part of the federal investigation into her US citizenship, colleague @davidspunt reports. It's unclear how her DNA was obtained, but sources tell David it was NOT from a trash can or dumpster. @FoxNews is told that reports of agents dumpster diving are incorrect. Additionally, David is told the feds have her personal passport as evidence. Her official passport (via her office) has not been retrieved, and authorities aren't concerned that she fled the country. They believe she in the U.S., and feel that if she were to flee the country, it would create problems for her down the line as her husband and family members are in the US.
DHS and DOJ continue to decline comment to FOX on the investigation.

Moments later, exhausted-looking men appeared on the sides of the hill.
The Congressional Leadership Fund highlighted the episode, quoting the WSJ and describing it as Vasquez accusing Republicans of lying about the number of illegal crossings only to be contradicted on the spot.
Every county you represent has a poverty rate above the national average. Yet your pitch here is recruiting immigrants to fill our shortages?
Where’s the equally ambitious plan to help struggling New Mexicans train for those careers? Their potential deserves more than “it’s really that simple.”
