**HLTV X FRAGBLOCK COVERAGE RANT** I am typically a moderate when it comes to controversial topics in the NACS community but I am struggling to understand this one. Somehow HLTV has made the ruling that frag doesn't meet the criteria to have its entire event covered. Based on my personal research I cannot find any *significant* reason that this is the case. Based on team average - with teams that I could not find on HLTV counting as a 250 on both VRS and HLTV rankings here is the tournament average for frag block compared to other notable events. FERJEE RUSH - 95.81 VRS | 90.75 HLTV BIRCH CUP - 104.29 VRS | 100.29 HLTV FRAG BLOCK - 119.56 VRS | 116.34 HLTV While frag block does have the lowest average - it is significantly more competitive in terms of prominence. Based on team average of top 50 + teams in VRS; here are the statistics based on prominence. FERJEE RUSH - 2 TEAMS BIRCH CUP - 10 TEAMS FRAG BLOCK - 13 TEAMS If we thin out the prominence to include up to top 100 in VRS here is the new prominence statistics. FERJREE RUSH - 10 TEAMS BIRCH CUP - 16 TEAMS FRAG BLOCK - 22 TEAMS Based on these numbers I cannot see a way to advocate for the event to be as limited in coverage as it is while providing an equal and fair playing ground for the event compared to the other 2 used in the sample (both events had full event coverage). I will reply to this post with my own personal theory / speculation to why this decision is made and how it harms our ecosystem.
