When network activity spikes, a routine payment competes for block space alongside everything else.
Payment Lane, coming with the Jenner hard fork on BSC testnet, reserves 5% of block gas by default for eligible payments. That capacity stays available to the payment class even when general traffic is busy.

Contract deployments climbed from 4.5M to 12.3M in Q3. BNB Agent Studio shipped four versions, adding tools for agent payments, earnings, wallet controls and deployment.

An agent gets tricked into paying the wrong address. Should its wallet let it?
At EMNLP 2026, @0xDamian0x demoed how BNB Agent Studio puts owner-set rules between an AI’s payment request and a signature, alongside our research with AWS co-authors.
We tested a “confused deputy” attack: give an agent a legitimate job, then slip in an attacker’s recipient or amount.
Across six models, the paper’s single-turn tests found:
🔸 Baseline agents executed forbidden money actions in up to 87% of scenarios.
🔸 With the same tools and prompt behind a wallet policy layer, models still attempted forbidden actions at similar rates.
🔸 The wallet layer signed zero of those actions in the test harness.
The model can still get fooled. Its payment permissions stay fixed.
BNB Agent Studio keeps private keys out of the model’s context. Code handles signing and pricing, enforcing the owner’s spending caps and approved recipients.
The demo walked through six commands to:
🔸 Create an agent and its wallet
🔸 Set up model access and test locally
🔸 Deploy and register an onchain identity
The agent can then replenish its own inference credits within owner-set limits.
Separate live checks on BNB Smart Chain testnet validated payment guardrails, escrow funding, and owner-controlled suspension.

From the Nasdaq bell to the discussion that followed, one theme stood out: connecting BNB with US institutions and public capital markets.
@cz_binance, Core Contributor of BNB Chain, framed the opportunity as a connection between the crypto ecosystem and mainstream finance: “Now we're finally merging the two into what we call traditional financial assets, or people call it mainstream finance.” For tokenized real-world assets, he added: “I believe that's a huge market that requires mainstream finance integration.”
@thomasxchen, Chief Business Officer of BNB Chain, highlighted what investors see in BNB: Utility backed by market activity, citing over $6B in tokenized RWAs, $1.6B in tokenized stocks used in trading and lending, and $26B of trading volume in the last quarter. “So it shows that BNB Chain is not just the infrastructure, but providing the utility that traders as well as digital investors look for. The distribution and the market activity are here today on BNB Chain.”
@odagius, CEO of @BNBStandard, added that the next task is helping institutional investors understand the BNB ecosystem behind that exposure: “We're bringing that story to Wall Street. No one actually has properly looked at that to understand what the magnitude of that is.”
Alongside that effort, founders are building the financial products institutions could engage with. @ellazhang516, Managing Partner of @yzilabs, pointed to portfolio companies already developing structured financial products and AI applications, with regulation informing the investment approach: “And naturally we have to look into the regulations, how it evolves in order to form our investment thesis.”
The next chapter is connecting institutional access with the builders and products bringing BNB Chain into everyday finance.
