Gabby Williams when asked if the earlier start time affected the Valkyries in Game 6, via @tristi_r14:
"They played at the same time as us, right? So it's not an excuse."
My last retweet… I also feel that’s legit life advice for any field. Master your role or your craft and things will open up

The NBA always gives us answers to the test but we continue to ignore them for some strange reason and we don’t prepare our young men for this reality as well. Chris Farr and Brian Shaw once told me “you have to know your role, master your role, then you can expand your role”
Warriors assistant Kris Weems on Jonathan Kuminga:
"What I would tell him all the time is, 'You gotta do some of the things that you don't want to do to do the things that you want to do.' And I don’t think he really understood that. Steve [Kerr] was asking, like, run the floor, get to the corner, and everything. But JK wasn't absorbing how important playing off the ball was for us. [Wiggins] figured it out... He started to figure out the pin-ins, and how to attack, using [Stephen Curry] as the decoy. JK just was like, 'Just give me the ball, man.'"
