Colombia is right in the middle of experiencing God’s life-altering and transformative power Over the last week, @A_Minichiello has been in Colombia meeting members of the new cabinet of new president President, Abelardo de la Espriella. The highly progressive former president is out, and “the new generation of politicians in power are the new radicals prepared to speak openly about their faith in Jesus Christ and their desire to serve their country in accordance with his truth.” Christian Concern’s involvement in Colombia is part of the global movement we are building. This has come about by God’s leading as we have responded to those who have reached out to us for help over the years. We now have an established Christian Concern Colombia team which is vocal and visible at the heart of public life in Colombia, and has been essential to the overturn of government earlier this year. In a new article on our website, Andrea writes: “God bless Colombia and thank you Jesus for the privilege of a life and ministry that serves this nation. I believe that if she remains faithful Colombia will rise in Latin America; that we will see a ‘city on the hill’ – an end to the dominance of drug cartels and corruption and the rise of a nation that loves Christ, pursues holiness, and lives in prosperity and all the blessings that flow from him.” Read more 👇 christianconcern.com/comment…

Take this opportunity to say that the draft bill to 'ban conversion therapy' is unworkable The Conversion practices draft bill is now being scrutinised by a Joint Select Committee which has been tasked with reporting back to parliament. This bill will criminalise certain types of consensual conversations, including parents objecting to a child’s gender or sexual identity. The committee has now issued a call for evidence about this bill, open until 5pm on Monday 16 November. Use our guide and respond to the committee 👇 christianconcern.com/action/…

FUNDS NEEDED: Help us protect Christian education at the Supreme Court ⚖️ Christian schools in our nation are often small, charitable, or community-based institutions. Our parents and their children are ordinary families. They do not have access to unlimited funds. The Christian Legal Centre is backing a group of independent Christian schools, parents and pupils to challenge the Government’s draconian policy of imposing VAT on independent school fees. The Supreme Court has granted the parents and pupils permission to appeal. Our case is now listed to be heard on 1 and 2 December 2026. Money raised through this campaign will help fund the legal work required to take the case through the Supreme Court, including: - preparation of the appellants’ written case; - barrister and solicitor costs; - detailed analysis of the High Court and Court of Appeal judgments; - examination of the Government’s evidence and submissions; - preparation for the two-day Supreme Court hearing; - evidential and procedural work before the hearing; - legal research into proportionality and human rights law; and - other necessary costs associated with presenting the appeal. Andrea Williams, Chief Executive of the Christian Legal Centre, said: “At its heart, this challenge is about whether the state can impose a blanket policy that disproportionately harms families who are simply seeking to educate their children in accordance with their Christian faith. “The Government has formidable legal and financial resources at its disposal. These schools and ordinary families need support to ensure that their voices can be heard clearly in the Supreme Court. “This is about education freedom and ensuring that the power of the state is exercised within proper limits.” “So much is at stake for the schools and families who brought this case, but for religious freedom, parental choice and the future of Christian education in this country.” Please help us take this case to the Supreme Court. The Government has the resources of the state behind it. Please donate today. Share this cause with other concerned schools and parents. Every donation, large or small, will help us prepare for this landmark hearing. If you cannot donate, please share this campaign with your family, friends, church and community. crowdjustice.com/case/challe…

The documentary reveals how easily harmful ideas can be accepted when they are presented as progressive, practical, and caring. Every human life has inherent value, and true compassion does not present suicide as a solution. christianconcern.com/comment…

Are we complacent about what is going on in the west? "Well one key lesson from the book of Daniel is indeed that civilisations are not immortal. Daniel had to tell the most powerful king that the world had ever seen that: 'Another kingdom inferior to you shall arise after you.' (Dan 2:39). In fact, that several other kingdoms would rise and fall after Babylon..." @TDieppe has just published a commentary on the book of Daniel, a book that that he believes has lessons for us as we live in a post-Christian culture. Will Western civilisation really collapse? Read Tim's article for @EvangelicalsNow and let us know what you think 👇

A former Labour health minister has raised "serious concerns" about the draft bill to ban 'conversion therapy' Our chief executive Andrea Williams wrote about the bill: "The definition of the bill is put in such arcane and vague language that it could apply to all sorts of things." "Pray for someone to be faithful to their wife? Conversion therapy. "Tell someone to stop watching porn? Conversion therapy. "Say to your 14-year-old daughter that she isn’t really a non-binary transmasc genderqueer demiboy? Believe it or not, conversion therapy." A ban on so called 'conversion therapy' is unnecessary and dangerous.

Imagine the entire population of London wiped out. 59 years since the Abortion Act, and more than 11 million unborn lives lost since. We were pleased to stand outside Parliament today alongside March for Life, CBR UK, the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children, and other pro-lifers, to remember all the lives lost to abortion in this nation. Christian Concern seeks to speak up for the worth and dignity of every human being, while exposing the true nature of medical procedures that devalue a person’s right to life. We seek to protect vulnerable women and families, showing how Christianity alone provides the basis to care even for those that society deems ‘unwanted’. We pray that our nation will cherish, protect, and uphold each and every innocent life. And until that day comes, we will continue to use the voice that God has given us to speak life, for the sake of our children.

POLICY CHANGED: County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust has finally changed its staff changing-room policy after a three-year legal battle with the Darlington nurses in which female nurses were harassed and discriminated against for wanting a single-sex place to undress at work. The Trust’s revised Uniform and Dress Code Policy now states: “In accordance with UK Supreme Court ruling (2025), staff must use changing spaces according to their biological sex. Alternative unisex changing spaces are provided for staff who choose not to use an alternative facility.” The change brings the Trust’s written policy into line with the law and the judgment secured by seven nurses at Darlington Memorial Hospital. express.co.uk/news/uk/226004…

BREAKING: Following a three-year legal battle, County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust has now finally changed its policy to reflect the law on single-sex spaces for its staff. The Christian Legal Centre has supported the nurses from the beginning for their ordeal. Andrea Williams, chief executive of the Christian Legal Centre, which has supported the nurses, said: “The Trust’s new policy is a complete vindication of the Darlington nurses and everything they have fought for. “In one clear sentence, the Trust has now accepted the position that Bethany and her colleagues maintained from the beginning: single-sex changing rooms are based on biological sex, and suitable alternatives should be provided for anyone who does not wish to use them. “Yet this elementary and lawful solution came only after years of institutional intransigence. The Trust ignored the women, disregarded internal warnings, pursued them through hostile processes and spent vast sums of public money defending a policy that exposed female staff to discrimination and harassment. “The nurses were portrayed as the problem when the real problem was a policy that erased their rights. Their courage has now forced one of the country’s largest NHS trusts to recognise biological reality and protect single-sex spaces in practice. “There must now be accountability for how this was allowed to happen, for the public money spent, and for the severe personal and professional harm inflicted on dedicated nurses who were telling the truth. Every NHS trust should read this policy change and act immediately. Women should not have to litigate hospital by hospital to secure rights already guaranteed by law.” See more on our website and breaking in the Express 👇🏻 christianconcern.com/ccpress… express.co.uk/news/uk/226004…

The trans subreddit is wondering whether single-sex spaces are conversion therapy. It's hard to blame them, given how absurd the government's draft conversion practices bill is. When will Labour realise that this is a dangerous waste of time?

Today, could you make a gift of £15, £30, £60 or whatever you can afford to ensure that Bread of Life Church - and every church in the UK - remains free to preach the gospel in public, all so that more people will hear and respond to the gospel? mailchi.mp/christianconcern.…

4 years ago today: The Metropolitan Police apologises and admits it ‘fell below standards’ following two wrongful arrests of female Christian evangelist Hatun Tash while being abused by an Islamic crowd for critiquing Islam at Speakers’ Corner, London. Supported by the Christian Legal Centre, Hatun Tash, a well-known Christian evangelist who has critiqued and debated the Qur’an and Islam at Speakers’ Corner, also received £10,000 in compensation and costs after challenging the arrests. The tide is turning Our Chief Executive Andrea Williams shares "A Christian Future for Britain" At Christian Concern, we're all about bringing the hope of Jesus to the heart of society. We have contended for him in public life for decades, and now, our culture is waking up to the reality that Christianity is the pillar that gives a nation a strong foundation.
