‼️ 24 dead Komyshuvakha, Zaporizhzhia region today. This number is likely to still rise.
I arrived back in Kyiv this morning. The train journey was fine. Thankfully, we did not have to evacuate. Since we arrived, we have received repeated warnings of russian drone attacks. After years of the full-scale invasion, we have learned to distinguish between the alerts. We do not run to the shelter every time. On days like today, we would do nothing else but hide.
Sometimes, even a shelter cannot keep you safe. Today’s massive russian attacks on Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region showed us that.
The russians struck with full force. According to available reports, they murdered at least 24 people and injured many others. As a number of people are still missing and the rescue works are ongoing, this number may still rise.
They hit a school used to distribute humanitarian aid and a shelter with people inside!
The attack came in several waves. First, russian aerial bombs struck the school, where humanitarian aid was regularly distributed to residents who had remained in the village. After the initial air strike, they attacked again with nine more bombs, hitting a shelter full of people seeking safety.
Two rescue workers and a police officer are among those killed - as the russians used their pernicious “double tap” strike.
Living through war is terrible. Be grateful for peace, my friends.
Slava Ukraïni!

Zelenskyy warns that Russia will launch another massive air attack on Ukrainian energy facilities while the US is distracted with midterm elections. “The assumption is basically that tomorrow the world will be watching the American midterms, and what is happening here in Ukraine, along with our difficulties with air defense and Patriot missiles, will be overlooked.”
We have intel that Russia is preparing a new massive attack on our country – primarily targeting energy and logistics. The assumption is basically that tomorrow the world will be watching the American midterms, and what is happening here in Ukraine, along with our difficulties with air defense and Patriot missiles, will be overlooked.
We need signals from the world to Russia that will make them feel that terror is no good, that it will bring no gains, and that as long as this war continues, their oil will burn, and they will not be able to make money doing business with the world. We must not play games with Russia’s oil or gas revenues. We must put pressure on Russia in such a way that it has no alternative but to end this war. America can do this.
