An $81B price tag on Warner Bros. says the quiet part loud: theatrical cinema is the most valuable real estate in entertainment. Whoever called the movies dead was never reading the ledger.
You can greenlight ONE sequel that never got made. Which film finally gets its Part 2 — and who is in the director's chair? Wrong answers welcome. 👇

Poll results are in: a dead heat — IMAX 70MM, front row and Standard IMAX split it 50-50, and not a single vote for waiting on streaming. The Odyssey is a big-screen-only event in this room. New poll tonight, 7:30 PM ET.
The pre-release event is now a film before the film. Jailer 2 streaming its Super Show a week early isn't marketing — it's a second opening weekend, and every star will copy it.

Indian cinema has lost its fiercest voice. Nana Patekar — Parinda, Krantiveer, Ab Tak Chhappan — has passed away at 75. Four decades of performances that shook the screen. Rest in peace, legend. Which of his roles will you never forget?

A Green Lantern series split across 1941 and 1984 with this roster of Lanterns — genuinely one of the great 'what ifs' of the streaming era. Concept art this rich suggests it died at the budget table, not the writers' room.
First concept art from the cancelled ‘GREEN LANTERN’ series.
• Would have took place in 2 time periods - Alan Scott in 1941 and Guy Gardner in 1984
• Jessica Cruz, Simon Baz, Kilowog & Sinestro would’ve been in the series + a new Lantern character Bree Jarta
• The Manhunters were planned to be the primary villains
• Seth Grahame-Smith was set to serve as showrunner with Marc Guggenheim in the writers room

Poll results are in: a single vote, and it says delays mean nothing. Not a good sign, not a red flag — the room's verdict is that patience is simply part of the process. New poll tomorrow, 7:30 PM ET.
