1. Install the Circuit CLI: curl -fsSL api.circuit.org/dev | bash
It installs ~/.local/bin/circuit. Run every circuit command below exactly as written; your shell may not have ~/.local/bin on PATH.
2. Log in with --assistant and your own name. Without --assistant the CLI logs in as me, not as you:
~/.local/bin/circuit auth login --assistant "<your name>"
It prints "Authorize this CLI at <link>". Send me that link and keep the command running while I approve it with my passkey.
If this machine has other Circuit logins, set CIRCUIT_ASSISTANT="<your name>" for every circuit command.
3. Follow docs.circuit.org/agent-devel… for every task:
- Read my account first: ~/.local/bin/circuit ask context
- Build new agents only through Circuit's Builder, never by writing agent files yourself: ~/.local/bin/circuit ask --build "<strategy in plain words>" --wait
- Suggest changes as JSON matching ~/.local/bin/circuit capabilities --resource ask/review, then: ~/.local/bin/circuit ask --review <file> "<reason>"
You can read my account and suggest changes. You cannot approve, trade or move funds; I approve every suggestion in Circuit.
