U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) commander Admiral Brad Cooper has directed the creation of 'Task Force Iron Gate', an internal staff of about 20 civilian and military personnel at CENTCOM Headquarters at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, to help prevent Iran from moving advanced weapons and other materials over land routes, announced today CENTCOM. The task force will coordinate with other U.S. government agencies on stopping the movement of advanced weapons systems, dual use technologies, sanctioned materials and illegal revenue across Iran’s land borders and the Caspian Sea. Adm. Cooper said it “reinforces the success of our ironclad blockade against Iran at sea” and will “further constrain Iran’s ability to finance terrorism, rebuild weapons factories, and replenish their military.” CENTCOM says the naval blockade has prevented Iran from exporting more than $25 billion in crude oil in recent months. Since the blockade began, Iran has turned to land, rail and Caspian Sea routes, according to the New York Times. They reported shipments from Russia across the Caspian Sea, trucking from Pakistan and Turkey, and Iranian efforts to export oil by rail to China.

Put all the ideological fighting aside. Rubio is mission-focused. Make a decision, and then endeavor to *see it through* to the outcome you want. When you think this way you have a much different compass.
.@SecRubio: “It would have been very easy to do what multiple presidents before him have done, which is just ignore the Iran thing, leave it for the next guy." “But this president didn't do that. He confronted it because what Iran wants to do is not just destroy our country; it's destroy our way of life and threaten our children,” he added.

BREAKING: US launches operation "Iron Gate" to isolate Iran by land, blocking ground routes to move "advanced weapons, dual-use technology, sanctioned materials and revenue across its land borders and the Caspian Sea." "The establishment of Task Force Iron Gate reinforces the success of our ironclad blockade against Iran at sea," Adm. Brad Cooper said, extending the naval blockade to Iran's land borders.

🔥 CHIEF OF STAFF STEPHEN MILLER: "YOU HAVE NO IDEA THE DRAGON YOU HAVE AWAKENED." "You have no idea how determined we will be to SAVE this civilization. To save the West. To save THIS REPUBLIC." "We will devote the rest of our lives to FINISHING the causes for which Charlie gave his last measure of devotion. You cannot defeat us, you cannot slow us, you cannot STOP us, you cannot deter us!" 🇺🇸 "We stand for what is good, what is virtuous, what is noble. To those trying to incite violence against us...what do you have? You have nothing. You are nothing. You are wickedness, you are jealousy, you are envy, you are hatred, you are NOTHING. You can build nothing, you can produce nothing, you can create nothing. WE are the ones who build, we are the ones who create, WE are the ones who lift up humanity!" Genuinely one of his greatest moments from roughly one year ago. This man is now being pushed to the forefront of Donald Trump's administration and it's AMAZING NEWS for America first 👏🏻 This is a patriot who knows what must be done. THE COMEBACK STARTS NOW.

🚨 JUST IN: Incoming WH Chief of Staff Stephen Miller just EMERGED with president Trump at Mar-a-Lago and said it PERFECTLY "This man took a BULLET for us. He faced down life in PRISON for us...We need to stand with the man who has stood with us and this country with every fiber of his being! It is the honor of my life to be President Trump's chief of staff. And I swear to you, and I pledge to you, Mr. President, my absolute loyalty, my unwavering commitment, and my total devotion to your success and the success of this country." "Let me tell you, if it wasn't for President Trump, the United States of America would not exist right now. This man saved America. He saved our military from collapse. He saved our economy from destruction. He saved our border from annihilation. And he saved our country from threats at home and abroad, which would have been the end of the American dream forever!" 🇺🇸 Miller has been with Trump since the escalator in 2015, and now he's running the White House. America First is in GOOD HANDS! He's poised to kick off the great comeback so we can kick these country destroying Democrats out of office come 2028 and beyond. 47 is CLEARLY leaning in on what got him elected in the first place, and that's a good thing for all of us 👏🏻 Go crush it, @StephenM!

But now IRGC 12’ers are driving again to rebuild both missile & nuclear programs…& will continue to do so until this regime is no more
I've lost count of how many times I've said this publicly over many months. Midnight Hammer prevented the nuclear breakout; Epic Fury prevented the missile breakout they needed to reconstitute the nuclear program and reach a zone of immunity.

This is why @POTUS had to make the tough decision to attack Iran’s nuclear weapons & ballistic missile programs…but no time to pause again now, because IRGC is driving hard to rebuild both of those while directly threatening US, ME & Europe
Wow. Senator John Kennedy. How is this not everywhere. Seriously. This is insane. Listen to what he’s actually saying.

Those upset with this article think the Iran war was a mistake. Trump does not. He did it because he believes stopping Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon is an “America First” necessity and that he was the only president in 47 years with the courage to do it. He’s right. They also think Trump was manipulated by some neocon cabal which supposedly has a “stranglehold on the GOP.” Really? Name one “neocon” in the Trump administration. I’ll wait. If anything he is surrounded by the *opposite* of neocons. There was a deliberate effort to purge all “neocons” and “globalists” from his second-term team. And yet look at the record: In his first term he bombed Syria (twice) for using CW on its people, destroyed the ISIS caliphate, killed Soleimani. In his second he has bombed the Houthis, bombed Iran’s nuclear sites, bombed Boko Haram terrorists murdering Christians in Nigeria, launched a military operation to remove Nicholas Maduro, launched a military blockade of Cuba, and then launched Operation Epic Fury to end the Iranian threat once and for all. THAT is MAGA foreign policy. No one manipulated him into doing it. It was not a cabal of neocons. It was HIM. To suggest otherwise is demonstrably false and insulting to Trump. He made this decision surrounded by many skeptics — and it was the right choice. It was in fact the most courageous foreign policy decision any president has made in my lifetime. I’ll defend that choice - and the man who made it - to my last breath. wapo.st/4BSFEz1

RE: The Iran War & the Midterms We all agree that Trump knew the Iran War would tank the midterms. Does anyone disagree? I did not think so. So, since we all stipulate to the above fact, that leaves really only two possible explanations for the war: 1. Trump thought indulging a bunch of neocon advisors on a wholly questionable useless, endless war was worth tanking the midterms. -or- 2. The intel that Trump had at hand was so compelling that it represented an existential threat to humanity and he had to choose between saving humanity and winning the midterms. (Remember, the Iranian mullahs want nukes so they can use them to precipitate Armageddon and the Twelfth Imam will then miraculously arise from a well in Qom and forcibly unify what is left of humanity under the banner of Shia Islam. These are not rational people.) I voted for Trump three times because I trust his judgment. I don't think his judgment turned to crap overnight. I believe history will eventually record that Donald Trump made one of the bravest, most selfless decisions that any world leader has ever made, and history will also record the people who think the accurate narrative is actually #1 above as being complete doofuses.

The U.S. government remains committed to countering any attempt by Iran to develop a nuclear weapons program. If you have information on Iran’s nuclear personnel or technologies, send us a tip.

Wait - didn’t they tell us they didn’t have a nuclear weapons program? Fact: IRGC never did give up its quest for deliverable nukes…Operation Midnight Hammer, Rising Lion, Epic Fury & Roaring Lion have kept us safe so far, but long as that regime’s still there, we’re not done
BREAKING: Iran has now begun distributing iodine tablets to residents living near nuclear facilities—including the heavily fortified Pickaxe Mountain complex—as Tehran prepares for the possibility of radioactive fallout from a U.S. strike, per The Times. An Iranian Health Ministry official confirmed the distribution, saying: "Yes, we are distributing iodine. During every war, we have tried to distribute it within a two-to-three-kilometre radius of nuclear facilities. Trump can no longer be trusted. He may go through with this crime." The tablets are being handed out alongside survival advice to communities near atomic sites, with particular attention to Pickaxe Mountain.

Except that Iranian nuclear program wouldn’t have been latent…the AMAD plan would have produced multiple bombs, at least some of which would have devastated Israel & probably some U.S. regional military bases too
Put another way, had Vance been in Trump’s shoes, Iran would have a latent nuclear program and massive missile force. As the veep said, just be honest.

So puzzling why @POTUS has never explained in open source terms just how close Iran was to a deliverable nuke…or how & why IRGC 12’ers are driving to restore that program: Pickaxe Mt., Minzadayi, Teleghan 2 at Parchin: HEU, warheads, explosive charges - tell us what this means
Victor Davis Hanson just rejected JD Vance’s claim that the Iran war cost Republicans the midterms. “It’s not the war.” Now, he says President Trump needs to hit Iran “very, very hard.” “Pickaxe Mountain.” “For two or three weeks.” Hanson is convinced that Trump “did the impossible” in the beginning of the Iran war, “but they didn’t explain it.” “They didn’t say to the American people, 7 presidents said you can’t let them get a nuclear weapon.” “They’re closer than ever before.” “This is an existential threat.” “When the war broke out, he had over 50% approval.” “And they had a spectacular success for the first 38 days.” “There were mistakes, but the biggest problem was we had almost won.” “Then once they stopped in 38 [days], they were not quite done yet.” “They hadn’t prepared for the Hormuz.” Then, he says they failed by letting negotiations drag on for months on end. “We still have eight months before the midterm.” “Six months.” “Five months.” “Four months.” “Three months.” “They got into a haggling with people who don’t tell the truth and have no intention to negotiate.” And now, he says Iran’s leaders are celebrating. “These people are sky-high, high-fiving themselves that they stopped Trump with the midterms.” “And they’re not going to negotiate.” @VDHanson

🚨 THIS: President Trump just shared Joel Pollak's take on last night, and it is the only one worth reading. "Securing the border is ugly. Fighting Iran is costly. Taking on special interests upsets donors. Backing AI scares people." "Tonight, Republicans paid the costs. The benefits will be with us for many generations." Weak Republicans campaign on what is easy. Trump governs on what is NECESSARY. One bad night does not undo a secure border.

💯 % yes
No, if he United States decides to engage in a military campaign, it must be determined to win it. And it cannot go alone; it needs the support of allies.

The mullahs believe they won the war without winning a battle. No regime change. No Arab Spring for Iran. No end to their funding of terror proxies. Just some assurances they will have to make not to build a bomb. Numerous Arab outlets report that Tehran is celebrating the Democratic wave that swept the midterms, and that J.D. Vance's X post blaming the loss "on the war" was read as proof the regime had won the waiting game. That's what America went to war for? That's the art of the deal? Expect the mullahs to press what they see as their leverage to cut a deal before the new Congress is sworn in. Their calculation is that Trump will not restart sustained military operations.
