THE MILWAUKEE BREWERS ARE WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS 🏆
The Brewers have finished the job, taking down the Tampa Bay Rays in five games to capture their first-ever World Series title! After dropping just one game since October 6, Milwaukee swept the two-time defending champion Dodgers in the NLCS before delivering a gentleman's sweep in the Fall Classic. What a dominant run for a so-called small-market team!
And the scary part? This core will largely remain intact next season, with Dustin May, JoJo Romero, and Jake Bauers among their impending free agents. Milwaukee could be a force for years to come.
For Christian Yelich, the championship is a long time coming. The 14-year veteran and former MVP finally gets his well-deserved World Series ring after a journey filled with plenty of highs and heartbreaks.
Meanwhile, Gary Sanchez gets to celebrate a championship before his former Yankees teammate Aaron Judge. That's quite the subplot!
The Brewers also showed just how dangerous they can be, with their legendary two-out rally in Game 3 serving as a perfect snapshot of their relentless approach.
Many expected a competitive series between two mirror-image organizations built on smart roster construction and player development. Instead, Milwaukee proved to be on another level, overcoming Tampa Bay's Game 4 fightback to finish the job in five.
The Brew Crew didn't just win it all. They made a statement 🍻

The 3 referees missed a goaltending violation on Jarred Vanderbilt that everyone could somehow see except them.
Tyronn Lue argued that they should at least look at it. They refused.
He wanted to call a timeout to challenge. They said it wasn’t reviewable.
