Colby Giacubeno

30PTS & 15REBS for 2028 @MtZionPrep Mikey Matthews in a 2OT win over Bella Vista. Remains criminally under appreciated from a national perspective… Not locally, though 😉

Spoke about what the addition of Carpenter means in the now, the years to come & the type of prospects St. Bonaventure seem to be prioritizing ⬇️

2027 St. James (VA) & @teamdurant_AAU Isaiah Carpenter has committed to St. Bonaventure, I’m told. The 6’5” senior has shown impressive improvement over the last year as a two-way guard/wing who brings positional versatility, traits as a connector & plenty of upside left to tap into. Another great addition for the Bonnies as Carpenter joins Victor Aborowa in the 2027 recruiting class, showing the approach from the staff to find under the radar talent who boast HM ceilings as prospects in the next 2-3 years.

Benji Berrouet is going to help a college program win a lot of games. Easily one of the best rebounders at the HS level. Relentless on the offensive glass & brings that old school, bruising mindset battling for leverage in the trenches. Finished with 12PTS, 14REBS (6 OFF)

2027 CJ Rosser's start to the 2026-27 season has been everything you'd hope for in a prospect who can contend for the No. 1 spot. He's on another absurd run tonight against FaZe w/ 30PTS & 9REBS w/ 5 min remaining. Just threw down this poster.

Not much movement within the top 10 except for @DeMathaHoops big man Jared Jeffers, who made his jump into the top 5. The VCU commit sits at No. 4 overall, but given his age & improvement over the last year, has a case for the most intriguing upside. The Stags enter the season with a future A10 frontcourt consisting of Jeffers & Richmond pledge Danny Abass (No. 10) as they look to shake up the WCAC.

The @PrepHoopsMD 2027 rankings were updated yesterday, but things at the top remained the same as Butler commit Lonnie Lyons has a firm stranglehold on the No. 1 spot. Enters his senior season w/ an entertaining @CG_Basketball roster who complements Lyons’ skillset nicely as a dynamic playmaking lead guard. More on the top 10 in the tweet below.

Mount Carmel has the top big man in the BCL in Junior Mancho (Towson) to control the paint, Kiyen Alexander to provide a two-way presence as a PG & a potential breakout candidate in Antwan Williams to go w/ an influx of international transfers as the Cougars gear up for a potential @bclbasketball run.
