Man, y'all gotta hear me out. π₯Έ
For sure, KD is one of the greatest PURE scorers this game has ever seen. No disrespect! He got that! But Luka is a walking BUCKET. The way he creates shots, controls the offense and puts up numbers is DIFFERENT. Better player? KD. Better scorer RIGHT NOW? Give me #77 - tell me if you agree or disagree?
MAXEY IS A SUPERSTAR. BEEN SAYING IT!
Is it officially Tyrese Maxey's team in Philly? π
We all know the Sixers got the talent BUT if ONE injury can derail their entire seasonβ¦ how serious can we really take them? What y'all think? π WE LIVE!

Aiiight...
Forget last season. Forget the awards. For a sec.
Based on what we're watching RIGHT NOW:
Who's the best player in the NBA?
Luka? Shai? Giannis? Jokic? or someone else? π€
Keep it a BUCK! TALK BOUT IT π

Before I ask God for anything today, let me thank Him for everything. Thank you God for waking me up this morning. ππ½ Good morning to all π
The Internet remains UNDEFEATED. It will take one sentence and turn it into a whole documentary. π But one thing about lifeβ¦ what you mean and what people hear ain't always the same thing. Perspective. Sometimes you gotta explain yourself better. And sometimes people gotta listen a little closer. Yet at the end of the day, there's always something to learn. Much love and God bless y'all. Goodnight. ππ½π―
Let me make this simple:
BEST PLAYER in the NBA = what you do on the court.
FACE of the NBA = talent, popularity, marketability, cultural impact and how the league promotes you. Politics.
You can be the best player and not be THE face. Two different convos. Hence my pointβΌοΈ
Hold up, that's NOT what I said. π
Luka and Jokic are two of the best players in the world, even though their international. And Cooper Flagg is ELITE!
My argument was about being the FACE of the NBA, not who can be the BEST player.
Two completely different conversations. π€¦π½ββοΈ
Charlie Villanueva says a white player has never been the best player in the NBA.
βWhen was the last time a white player was single-handedly the best player? I love white people. My first nut was with a white girl, so why would I be racist? Iβm not racist.β

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Charlie Villanueva did not say a white player has never been the best in the NBA or make the quoted remarks. On the To The Baha podcast, he said he did not think a white dude could be the face of the league because "it's a Black league right?"

Y'all know I got some thoughts on this whole "face of the NBA" conversation. π
So now let's really talk Cooper Flagg. Future superstar... NO QUESTION! But there's a BIG difference between being a great young player and becoming the face of the league at this stage.
We LIVE π΄

I see the comments BUT I still don't think some of y'all understand what I'm trying to say. And for the record, Cooper Flagg is HIM, wanna my favorite players!
We back on @ToTheBaha today and trust me we gonna talk bout it some more. π£οΈ
