Although the way Beck is playing, he deserves to be in the lineup more.
It's a luxury to be able to have him draw into the lineup at any time.
Behind us are the days of career AHLers being recalled just to fill a spot.
The #GoHabsGo have come a long way.
Jacob Fowler will start in goal tonight for #Habs and forward Owen Beck will replace Josh Anderson.
The most impressive part of this goal is how Caufield had no angle and was still able to get his shot over Cossa's right shoulder.
He was in so tight, with Cossa standing at the top of his crease, that it was almost impossible.
Man, not many guys can shoot it like Caufield. #GoHabsGo
The #GoHabsGo are now 10-3-3 in their first 16 games. One point ahead of last year's pace.
All this with Demidov having only played 2 games, Suzuki missing 6 games and Dobes having struggled.
If you'd told me that at the beginning of the season, I wouldn't have believed you.
Really happy for Xhekaj.
He hasn't had the easiest ride, with limited ice time and a fair share of criticism.
Glad he got to have a moment like that. #GoHabsGo
Quel moment!»
