I’ve been reassured here that either it’s not real or, if it is, that it’s totally under control and being well handled by local officials who can do no more. So. All good!

NEW: Ontario's integrity commissioner obtained many months of text messages between PC MPP Laurie Scott & John Mutton (aka Mr. X).
The texts show the pair building rapport around 2 efforts: getting special zoning approvals for his clients & helping her political fundraising.

A 'whisper campaign' - sounds familiar to me. Unfortunately, Meta can be fairly effective when it uses all of its tentacles to suppress the credibility of a vocal critic. Noting for a friend.

Imagine being so medically unwell that you need emergency hospital care and all your medical assessments and treatment occur while you are in a crowded hallway. It’s inhumane.
Ontario’s hallway health care numbers have hit unprecedented highs:
On an average day in Jan 2025, Ontario hospitals treated 2,088 patients in hallways, break rooms and other spaces never meant for care.
It was the most since Ontario Health began tracking the number in 2017 and 52 per cent more than January 2018, the winter before Doug Ford won a majority government promising to end hallway health care.

If a senior can go to hospital for a hip replacement and go home in two days, then my bet is Stan Cho could have gone home in two days as well.
This excuse doesn’t explain why the Minister needed to spend $15,000 on hotel stays when his wife and child lived just 6km away.

Stelco and Stellantis show the limits of branch-plant economics. Public support should go to firms that commit to lasting jobs, ownership, and benefits in Canada. Glad to participate in this public conversation.
