Today is a landmark day for MEA's Pre-Departure Orientation Training (PDOT) program, as the number of emigrant workers who have been imparted PDOT has reached 50,000. Presently, there are 10 PDOT centers across the country imparting such training.

All are requested to go through the advisory to clarify their doubts. Indians already overseas do not need to register themselves now. Families are not required to register either. Contact @HelplinePBSK for additional details, or refer the FAQ at emigrate.gov.in/ext/static/F…
Online registration is mandatory for Non-ECR passport holders traveling for work in 18 ECR countries. Those who are already abroad need not apply at this point of time. Pls refer MEA advisory dated 14th Nov on emigrate website or contact @HelplinePBSK for further clarification.
MEA advisory is clear that ONLY Non ECR passport holders traveling from India to these 18 countries on EMPLOYMENT/ WORK during next 21 days should register. Indians already overseas do not need to register. Registration NOT required for dependants who are not on work visa.
Y can't our Indian gov come up with a transparent info. As per D advisory, it says that people arriving to UAE on an employment Visa have to register themselves, where as @cgidubai says Dat all Indians working in UAE must register. Clarity please. @SushmaSwaraj @eMigrateproject
