Honestly as an artist this is depressing, can you imagine how many similar cases go under the radar? If this artist hadn't come across that figure, or if the post hadn't blown up, maybe they would never get compensation/recognition for it. Artists deserve respect and payment for their work, this is leggit theft and it's CRAZY some companies think that's okay to do. What pisses me off is they probably think there will be no consequences whatsoever because "oh its just a freelance artist, they wont sue us, and IF they happen to notice we'll just pay them and we'll be good"

I'm hallucinating or they actually made a figurine of my art 😭

Here’s a fixed version! When exporting, colors can appear duller than intended. This is a Display P3 ver. (main color profile used by phones and tablets screens!) So if you’d like to use this as a wallpaper, pls use this one 🙇🏻‍♀️

" Art doesnt contribute to society " Okay then dont watch a movie or show. Or play a game. Remove the decorations from your house. Don'r read any Manga, comics or novels. Or listen to a favorite musician. Say, who designed your favorite pieces of clothing, huh?

Love when people say "oh the arts dont matter because they dont contribute to society" then sit down to watch Netflix or play a video game.
