The US dollar-yen declined as a US technology selloff revived the yen as a safe haven. USDJPY fell below 158.00 before rebounding above 157.50. The price faces a downtrend shift potential via death-crossed EMAs. Breaking below 157.50 may push USDJPY toward the support at 157.00.
Rebounding oil prices kept the US dollar index range-bound. DXY fell and hovered between flattening EMAs after retesting 101.60. The index stays near converging EMAs, suggesting a sideways shift. Holding below the resistance at 101.60 may keep DXY within the 101.25-101.60 range.
US30 pushes higher 📈
After retesting 51,600, US30 broke above both EMAs and 52,800 and is heading toward 53,700, with a golden cross and higher swings pointing to a possible uptrend.
A close above 53,700 may open the way to 54,700. Staying below 53,700 or falling under 52,800 could bring a decline toward 51,600.

Higher Oct Eurozone Headline CPI fuels ECB tightening expectations, lifting the euro. EURUSD retraced below EMA24 before bouncing back. The price maintains higher swings above diverging bullish EMAs, suggesting an uptrend. Clearing above 1.1280 may drive EURUSD toward 1.1320.
Dec BoJ hike expectations and falling Treasury yields pressured the US dollar-yen. USDJPY fell toward 158.00 after fluctuating above 158.35. The price remains between both EMAs, indicating consolidation. Remaining above 158.00 may keep USDJPY within the 158.00-158.35 range.
