Filming Irvine Welsh for Scotland Tonight was a good challenge. We had 30 minutes to set up and light a 3 camera interview. Happy with the results and his conversation with Rona Dougall was fascinating.
"I would liked to have lived life as a woman"
We speak to author @IrvineWelsh as a documentary is made about his life and art.

Great to hear Louise Lancaster on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire yesterday discussing her part in the Just Stop Oil protests and the Radio 4 documentary we made with her, Crossing The Line.

This is what a half hour radio documentary looks like! It works better to listen than look though. Crossing The Line, about the personal cost of climate activism, is out now on BBC Sounds: bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002f6p…
