A year and 6 months ago, I posted about optimizing costs with a vibe coded UI and an API that God knows should not have existed.
Today, the service has daily signups, keeps growing in revenue and boasts at least a 30% reduction in costs from our insights.
@costgraphai launches officially to the public with more features and taste than ever, it works on-prem too. Be there this Saturday.

CCI is big on excellence and there is also a corporate anointing of angelic assistance in the Ministry. My Apostle is big on the work of angels and I don't go a day without praying for Angelic assistance... A recent personal testimony.. we built 3 custom booth at Moonshot Conference and branded 13 other shell schemes that's 16 in total. We did not lobby or apply for anyone! We were referred for all!!! Glory to Jesus.

Major cheat code for life: Assume good things are still ahead. You are not behind. You are not too late. You are not disqualified by your past. One new season can change the entire story. Keep showing up with belief. The best chapters are often written after the hardest ones.

I've never had a proper portfolio.
I've done amazing, amazing work, but I struggled to document it for the longest time.
Seven years in marketing across graphics design, video editing and social media management, before settling for performance marketing.
Here is my portfolio:

I decided to highlight three jobs that show my dexterity across tech, e-commerce and lead gen.
This body of work was put together by one of the best designers I know, @IchekeChinaza, and built by my baby brother, @dev_rhema.
Special shoutout to Josiah and Enzu for back end confirmations and copy checks.
After looking at the portfolio, you can check out the error 404 game we also built.

Yesterday and today I heard two senior people I hold in high regard discuss constant readiness because the future is uncertain. Both stated that “opportunities have to meet you prepared.”

There comes a time in a man’s life where everything you lay your hands on just works.
I pray we have the wisdom and resources to make the best of it.

hard agree on this. once you moved closer to customer-facing / deal-supporting work, the difference in how the work was valued (especially during tight quarters or reorgs) would be obvious.
drawing that line early has been the best form of job insurance seen so far.
Best advice I give now to mid-career folks is:
try to work in a profit center rather than a cost center. Every role in a company is either one or skews more to one center and AI is eating up cost centers at the moment
Cost center = doesn’t directly make the company money, needs more hands to scale. Software engineer, product designer, customer support, project manager, product owner, community manager, technical writer, HR etc
Profit center = Solution engineer, FDE, account manager, marketing associate/manager, technical business development, growth marketer, tech product manager etc
One solution to being in a cost center is to draw a clean line from what you do to revenue. However difficult it is. Even if your manager doesn’t care, don’t worry, they’ll get fired before you.
Wow. It’s November.
Happy new month to you guys. I hope the year hasn’t been too hard on you. If it was, no pressure. Better days are coming (trust me, I know)
Don’t push yourself too hard to try and achieve everything you planned for the year in this final fully productive month of the year. As we accelerate towards the new year, take stock of what went wrong, what you did right and what you can fix going forward.
I hope we can all still score some big home runs in this month.
God bless ❤️

For years, you have truly manifested your name in my life—Olúwa bù kún ayọ̀ mi.
Because through you, God has added joy to my life, and I don't take that for granted.
In my lowest moments, you have stretched out your hand to support me and push me on. As you celebrate today, I pray God opens doors that flood your life with joy!
I love you, brother. Happy birthday @Bukayor_BK ❤️

An important reminder from Atomic Habits by James Clear:
“It doesn't make sense to continue wanting something if you're not willing to do what it takes to get it. If you don't want to live the lifestyle, then release yourself from the desire. To crave the result but not the process is to guarantee disappointment.”
