Really, what says you to the military pilots, 20 year old Air Force, flying in war zones! Do you call them pledging a sorority too, you idiot!

She was falling 27,000 feet in a minute in an iced-up jet. In about 35 seconds she declared a mayday, gave her tail number, descent rate, overspeed and a 60-degree bank. That's the job. Then she died with eight other people, and you're grading her tone. Fuck you.
A pilot should not: 🔘become hysterical 🔘speak too quickly to be intelligible 🔘say, "We're going to crash into the ground!" 🔘scream like a little girl 🔘hyperventilate 🔘scream like a little girl again A pilot needs a certain disposition. This is not it. That's the reality.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Having a front row seat to your own demise is an emotionally distressing experience and pilots have been known to scream in such situations. Western Airlines Flight 2605 being one such example. m.youtube.com/watch?v=FKLE_n…

Last night Trump said he could have won Vietnam in a week. His plan was “going after Ho Chi Minh City.” Ho Chi Minh City was Saigon, the capital of South Vietnam. Our ally. The enemy’s capital was Hanoi. We bombed it. He called the presidents who fought that war stupid, then explained how he’d have won it by attacking our own side. 58,220 Americans died in that war. Trump got five deferments. Now he’s telling the rest of us how easy it would have been. He’s had more than fifty years to learn which side we were on. He still hasn’t. That alone should disqualify him from sending anybody else’s kids to war. Instead, he’s weighing more strikes on Iran after Tuesday. His administration has reportedly considered using the “mother of all bombs,” the one he calls “like a tiny nuclear bomb.” The man who thinks we should have bombed our ally’s capital gets to choose the targets.

Selfie with the kittens today! They did so good when I was at work yesterday… nothing was destroyed and no kittens were harmed in the absence of my supervision… and they met me at the door like Milkshake used to do… my heart… 🥹❤️

I did the deed… I was pleasantly surprised by the early voting turnout today at lunchtime. It was busy, but quick & easy. Of course, I had to rep our military moms and wear my Navy hat because why not… I’m proud. Be cool and go vote… lol 🇺🇸🗳️💙 #vote

Holy Sh*t: A Duke football player SWATS at a female medical staff worker on the field as she came to help his injured teammate. This girl is more than half his size and works for the team. He needs to be cut immediately 🤦‍♂️

Thanking the good Lord for sustaining us through a rough August, and I can’t think of a better way to welcome September than to wish the incomparable Barry Gibb a happy 80th birthday! Besides Dolly, @GibbBarry is the most influential artist of my life… since I was 10 years old, he has been my hero as a stellar musician, an extraordinary producer, one of the greatest songwriters of all time, and an all-around good husband, father, and man. His accomplishments as an icon in music are immeasurable. Here’s wishing many more years filled with good health, great experiences in his retirement, and all the love he deserves… most importantly, with his beautiful wife of 56 years (today is their anniversary as well!), Linda. God bless Barry Gibb.🩷
