Red pill or blue pill?
On the latest edition of @JasonCammisa on the Icons, we enter the Matrix with a question.
If you weren't told that what you were interacting with wasn't "real", could you tell? And if you knew it wasn't, but it was convincing enough, would you care?
The simulated clutch and shifter of the Ferrari 12Cilindri Manuale put on an incredibly convincing performance of a proper six-speed manual in pretty much every way that matters, while also giving you the option of cruising in traffic in a traditional automatic. It also has the added benefit of not letting you money shift and throw a rod out of the side of your very, very expensive 6.5 L V12.
So does the simulation work? Is this heresy? Or is it possibly the true savior of the manual in modern cars?
These questions answered, and more, in the full episode here: bit.ly/4zVXteE
