GOAL:
The deadlock has finally been broken in scrappy fashion.
The 'keeper' for the hosts ended up palming the ball into his own net under duress from Wild, following a dangerous cross from Taylor which caused havoc in and amongst the Pagham box.
87' PAG 0-0 HOR #HorshamFC
A much-changed Hornets outfit edged past Pagham to book a place in the Sussex Senior Cup, avoiding the lottery of penalties courtesy of an own goal from the opposition 'keeper'.
SUBS:
Yet another academy prospect comes on.

SUBS:

➡️H. Semark
80' PAG 0-0 HOR #HorshamFC
CHANCE:
A near miss saw the visitors go just inches away from taking a shock lead.
A long ball was played over the top leaving just Elliot and Heater to protect the goal but Elliot did just enough to force the Pagham man to skew his shot just wide.
77' PAG 0-0 HOR #HorshamFC
CHANCE:
The first chance of the second half went to the Hornets, who were denied by the hosts
Ajakaiye maurded down the right wing, edging past his full back and cutting the ball back to the far post where Nadesan was lurking but the pass was hoovered up.
62' PAG 0-0 HOR
SUBS:
Second substitution of the evening for the Hornets
⬅️Barker
➡️Hammond
57' PAG 0-0 HOR #HorshamFC
The game is back underway for the second half, with the Hornets having work to do in order to secure safe passage into the fourth round.
SUBS:
Dom opts to make a defensive change for the second half.
⬅️Bartley
➡️Elliot
45' PAG 0-0 HOR #HorshamFC
Despite a bright start, the Hornets have not yet been able to break the deadlock and go into the break level with their hosts.
CHANCE:
After a period of stalemate, the game burst into life just before the end of the half.
Once again, Dan Ajakaiye was at the centre of play, teeing up Marco Haigh, who force a solid reflex save from Kelly
44' PAG 0-0 HOR #HorshamFC
No concrete to write home about after the Ajakaiye chance in the first ten minutes. The Hosts are defending well whilst the Hornets have had a multitude of corners.
24' PAG 0-0 HOR #HorshamFC
CHANCE:
The first chance of this senior cup tie goes the way of the Hornets.
A magical chipped cross from Taylor set up Ajakaiye on the Volley but the Hornets FA Cup Hero was not able to get a sufficient connection on his shot.
7' PAG 0-0 HOR
