Metallica frontman James Hetfield took a swipe at artists who use their concerts to lecture audiences about politics during the band's Las Vegas residency.
In what could easily be seen as a dig at the likes of Macklemore, Hetfield told the crowd:
"Unless you live in Vegas, you've come a long way to spend some time with Metallica. We're grateful for that. Your travels, the money you spend, the time it took, thanks for coming to celebrate with us.
And I just gotta say, Metallica is not here, like some other entertainers, to influence you with their bullshit. We are here to forget about all the outside shit. Metallica's agenda is love, energy and heavy music, baby!"
Hetfield has rarely spoken openly about his politics, but past interviews suggest he holds many conservative values.
On Joe Rogan's podcast in 2016, he explained how he'd moved his family away from the San Francisco Bay Area, having grown tired of what he saw as its political intolerance and elitism.
As a Metallica fan, this is incredibly based! ๐ค

OCTOBER 7, 2023: SHE KNEW SHE WAS GOING TO DIE.
Libi Cohen-Meguri, a 22-year-old infantry officer, went to the Nova music festival.
She was shot while fleeing the party. At 8:11 a.m., she called her parents and said:
โIโve been shot in the stomach, Iโve been shot in the arm, Iโm losing blood. Iโm going to die.โ
Calmly, quietly, she understood; these were the last minutes of her life.
She asked her parents to call Tomer, her twin brother, and Maya, her little sister, and said:
โIโm going to die. I just want you to listen to me.
I love you, Yariv. Youโre the best father I could have asked for.
Mom, stop screaming. Just listen to me. You are the best mother we could have ever had. Donโt forget to be a good mother to Tomer and Maya after I die.
Tomer, how lucky we were to live this life together. I love you.
My Maya, never forgetโyou are the treasure of my life.โ
When she finished speaking, her parents told her to get out of the car, lie down on the road, and pretend to be dead.
With her last bit of strength, she got out of the car and laid down on the road.
โMom, theyโre coming to shoot me again,โ Libi said after lying down.
While her mother listened on the phone, shouts in Arabic could be heard, and then a barrage of gunfire.
It didnโt stop.
It kept going, until the call was disconnected.
And thatโs how Libi diedโwith demonic beasts from the pit of hell standing over her and emptying a full magazine into her body.
Libi died with LOVE on her lips: love for life, love for her family, and love for her people.
Her memory will forever be a blessing.
NEVER FORGET.
NEVER FORGIVE.
NEVER AGAIN IS NOW.
Israel is hunting down every single Palestinian and Hamas terrorist who participated in the October 7th Massacreโto kill them all.
Theyโre living on โborrowed time,โ Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.
Sooner or later, every one of these monsters will be found and eliminated.

The walkout by so many countries, which had listened with respect to the leader of Iran's gang of genocidal butchers, demonstrated with absolute clarity why the Israel they want to destroy is today absolutely essential to defend the Jewish people against those countries themselves.

More than 5,000 figures from entertainment, academia, politics, business, literature and public life have signed an open letter declaring that they reject the accusation that Israel committed genocide in Gaza.
Signatories include former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, historian Niall Ferguson, psychologist Steven Pinker, former U.S. antisemitism envoy Deborah Lipstadt, former Canadian justice minister Irwin Cotler, media executive Shari Redstone, actress Debra Messing, historian Simon Sebag Montefiore and military expert John Spencer.
The letter accuses Hamas of entering the war with genocidal intentions.

I welcomed the opportunity on Friday to meet with the Foreign Secretary, the Rt Hon. Ed Miliband. While we share fervent hopes for a future of peace and security in the Middle East, I explained why I believe the UK Governmentโs intended sanctions will be counter-productive and even endanger such a vision of peace.
I told the Foreign Secretary that many within the UK Jewish community will view such measures with deep dismay, at a time when the vilification of Jews, Judaism and the Jewish State has already reached unprecedented levels.
The intended policy will not influence Israeli decision-making in the way the Government intends. Instead, it risks inflicting real harm across the region. Given the obvious challenges of defining and implementing such measures, there is a clear danger that they will spiral into a de facto boycott of trade with Israel more broadly, damaging the long-term relationship between our two countries and threatening the livelihoods of tens of thousands of Palestinian workers.
These measures will also disproportionately affect British Jews because of our close religious, family, charitable and educational ties to Israel. Over recent years, we have seen repeatedly that when rhetoric towards Israel escalates, hostility towards Jews is never far behind.
I strongly condemn the reprehensible violence perpetrated against Palestinians by a small number of extremists, yet the UK Governmentโs proposals will only embolden the tiny minority who support such criminality, while penalising countless others who abhor it.
The stated justification for punishing an ally in this way, is Israelโs long-planned construction of homes in the E1 area. Yet successive peace efforts, from Oslo to Camp David and beyond, have envisaged a final agreement in which this area would remain under Israeli sovereignty.
It is therefore difficult to escape the painful conclusion that domestic political considerations are driving foreign policy, the impact of which is negative both for prospects for peace in the Middle East and for the UK Jewish community.

In case you missed it yesterday: New @ADL research shows that one classroom lesson on antisemitism, taught through a historical and contemporary lens, can measurably reduce antisemitic beliefs in teens.
Participating students were 13.6 percentage points less likely to minimize antisemitism as an issue after being educated. As my colleague Matt Williams said, "Districts don't need a semester-long unit to make progress. They need the right 45 minutes."

In 1918, King Hussein of the Arabsโone of the great heroes of Arab historyโwrote an op-ed in the Al Qibla newspaper.
He said that if the Arabs wanted the British and the rest of the world to care about their claim to their ancestral land, then they cannot deny the Zionistsโ claim to their ancestral land in the Land of Israel.
This isn't me saying this.
This is the leader of all the Arabs, King Hussein himself.
And he says at the end of the op-ed, "The Jews are the original sons of that land."
Nine months later, on December the 29th of 1918, King Hussein's son, Prince Faisal, who becomes the first King of Iraq, has a banquet in his honor thrown by a bunch of British dignitaries, along with Lord Rothschild.
Prince Faisal stands up and gives a toast, and at the end of the toast he turns to Lord Rothschild and he says, "We Arabs cannot in good conscience deny the ancestral home of the Jewish people."
And he turns to Lord Rothschild and he says, "To my Zionist friends, I say to you, welcome home."

Here is a chart showing economic growth since Mark Carney became Prime Minister in Q1 of 2025.
It is the worst.
Worse than Australia, the U.K., the G7, the EU, the U.S.
Worse than Mexico, which also shares a border and a trade dispute with the U.S.
Mark Carney promised to be first. He delivered the worst.

Boy George is an iconic British superstar.
This week he put out a song to show solidarity with the Jewish people post October 7. It is called We Will Dance Again.
As a result, he has been libelled by almost all British media as โpro genocideโ.
He has had to withdraw from his West End role in Jesus Christ Superstar.
He has lost his label manager.
You think Jews are all controlling and protected by institutional power?
This is what has happened to a British ICON in a matter of DAYS.

AI companies are purchasing large quantities of used and rare books. Scanning their contents to train models. Then turning the originals to pulp.
The sum of human thought, digitized and shredded.
Every book that gets scanned disappears from the physical world permanently. The knowledge survives only as training data inside a system no one can hold, browse, or resell.
What used to sit on a shelf for centuries now exists as weights in a model that might get deprecated next quarter.

The worldโs media has been far slower to publish the evidence against than the allegations themselves. Utterly shameful. See the evidence:

When a Jewish-owned business gets hit twice, itโs not coincidence, itโs a targeted campaign of intimidation on one community. Synagogues, schools, and Jewish businesses come under attack again and again.
This country needs to wake up to the hatred metastasizing in its streets.
Canadaโs Jewish community isnโt asking for sympathy, theyโre demanding action. Find the people responsible, arrest them, and prosecute them. Toothless bills, thoughts and prayers and more statements donโt quell a communityโs anxiety, they just insult it. Task forces donโt act. No more councils that donโt speak up.
Just do the results part. Enforce the law.
