Congrats @barrald -- Hex is on a tear
In May, we had just closed our best quarter ever – and of course decided to re-build @hexanalytics from scratch. Today we're announcing two things: Hex 4.0, the first analytics platform truly built for agents; and a $100m fundraise at a $1.2B valuation, led by @peakxvpartners The world is changing fast, and we're not slowing down! Hot take: Design partners are a trap "You realize that all of their feedback was just them playing Steve Jobs."

The SaaSpocalypse finally here. McKinsey finds 32% of companies have decided to build software instead of buy it. Plenty of companies will never write a line of code. But 32% is more than enough to crush growth expectations for SaaS stocks. And you can see it in the charts. Hubspot, for example, is down 70% from 2025 highs.

So infantile, so stupid, and so entitled.
WARNING: STRONG LANGUAGE President Trump escalated his invective against Norway, calling it a ‘shit house country’ and saying Norwegian immigrants are not welcome in the United States because the Nobel committee, based in the capital Oslo, has not awarded him a Peace Prize reut.rs/3U1joSt

Turns out that if everyone was paid the same, saved the same amount, made the same on their investments, and worked & lived the same amount of time… … people 65+ would have 74% of the wealth. Surprised? Welcome to Equal Land. adamnash.blog/2026/10/25/why…

With #ElectionDay less than 10 days away, voters deserve the unedited, unfiltered truth about what Americans like them want and need. Unfortunately, that’s not what they’re getting. It’s a privilege to be involved in our democracy, and that privilege should be taken seriously. However, too many news sites (like the one I’ve quoted below) are misusing and abusing that privilege to mislead or even actively misinform the public at the very moment we need honesty and accuracy the most. The political right is trying to discredit polling just because they don’t like what the results show. The political left doesn’t accept the fact that most Americans want significant change, just not the changes they’re proposing. There is some truth on both sides. And that’s the point. We have lost our ability to see, listen, and respect viewpoints that aren’t our own. We are too quick to dismiss and condemn, and too slow to embrace and empathize. So, to correct the record that social media has distorted beyond all recognition: Trump voters are less likely to participate in polls than Democrats… But that doesn’t fully account for the dramatic swing towards Democratic candidates in the upcoming midterm elections. To be clear, voters are upset with the lack of affordability, the ongoing military engagement with Iran, and a feeling of being ignored and forgotten by the policy people in Washington. In other words, Americans are mad at everyone. But since Republicans are in charge, they will absorb the brunt of the public anger just like Democrats did in 2024. That’s what really happening across the country, and to ignore it is to ignore reality. There is most certainly a ‘blue wave’ coming, but I don’t think it will be as wide and deep as the ‘tsunami’ that many blue partisans are declaring. President Trump still has incredibly passionate supporters across the country, but not as many or as passionate as they once were. There is something for everyone to criticize. There is something for everyone to embrace. And once again, that’s the point. Let us build a democracy where everyone is heard and respected, and the highest value is the truth. If we continue down our current path, the consequences will be an American society unable to unify and an American people unable to see a better future for themselves and their children.
Seasoned pollster and commentator Frank Luntz warned CNN last week that flawed polling practices may be giving Democrats a false sense of security about the upcoming midterms and could crush their hopes of a blue wave. Luntz appeared on "CNN News Central" and… w-j.co/s/0bc2c
