Serving as MPP for the Riding of Huron-Bruce, as well as Ontario Minister of Rural Affairs is truly the honour of a lifetime.
I take this responsibility very seriously and I thank Premier Ford and the people of Huron-Bruce for placing their trust in me once again.
We're keeping costs down for Ontario families by delivering over $12.5B in relief this year alone.

Great to connect with members of the Ontario Craft Brewers during their advocacy day at Queen’s Park, including Cowbell Brewing from Huron County. We had a productive conversation about the craft beer sector and its contributions to economic growth, tourism, and vibrant communities across Ontario.
Today our government released #OnFES2026, a Plan to Protect Ontario, outlining our plan to protect workers, families, and businesses while fortifying key industries impacted by tariffs and attracting new jobs in high-growth sectors.

I recently presented Premier @fordnation and Minister @samoosterhoff with framed posters from the 2026 IPM & Rural Expo as a memento of the very successful #BruceCounty Match near #Walkerton this year!
Back at Queen’s Park, our work continues to ensure rural Ontario’s priorities are represented at the decision-making table and that communities across the province have the support they need to grow and thrive.

So proud to continue to work on behalf of #RuralOntario with @BobBaileyPC who returns as Parliamentary Assistant for @ONRuralAffairs .
Together we will continue to advance priorities for small towns and rural communities across the provinces.
Congratulations to everyone who has been elected to serve their local municipalities - I look forward to working with you all. Small towns and rural communities are home to 275,000 businesses across the province and generate $117.8 Billion in Ontario’s GDP and businesses in #Huron #Bruce play a significant role in that contribution!
And thank you to everyone who put their names forward and stood for election in local #Huron #Bruce municipalities this year, it is important to be engaged.
Congrats to the #GeorgianBay Chapter of Professional Engineers for hosting another successful annual #Mathletics Competition that was max’d out with 50 math students representing 13 communities from #Bruce, #Huron , Grey, & Perth Counties.
Thank you @Bruce_Power for hosting the event again in your #VisitorCentre near #Tiverton.
Since launching our $3.4 billion Primary Care Action Plan, we've connected more than 500,000 additional people to primary care.
In Huron-Bruce, Kincardine Family Health Team & Brockton and Area Family Health Team have already connected over 7,500 people to care, helping ensure more residents can access the care they need, closer to home.

We have been celebrating in #SmallBusinessWeek in #Huron #Bruce!!
Did you know that 275,000 businesses call small towns & rural communities across this province home, generating $117.8 billion in provincial GDP?
For instance Brown’s Guardian Pharmacy in #Walkerton has 61 people on their team!! And they do so much more, like supporting people recuperating and aging at home! I appreciated a chance to visit Ryan and Katrina! Plus I got my flu shot while I was there!!
Saw a shark in #PortElgin today!
And - a baby shark, princesses, super heros, witches, an egg & bacon, bananas, and so much more - in #Southampton as well!!
It was awesome to see everyone embracing the #Halloween spirit in #SaugeenShores.
I was privileged to participate in the official opening of the 3rd suite at Huron Shores @HSHospice today in #Tiverton.
The vision, commitment and sense of community #HuronShores has is evident in all the hospice does, especially in their partnership with the Tiverton Park Manor.
It was also wonderful to see families & supporters come together to celebrate!
Great to attend the 2026 Ontario Tourism Summit and join discussions on the role of tourism in strengthening rural Ontario.
Tourism plays an important role in diversifying local economies, supporting small businesses, attracting investment, and creating jobs.
Thank you to TIAO for bringing partners together for these important conversations.

We're making housing more affordable by:
🏠 Removing the full 13% HST from new homes
🏗️ Cutting development costs to help build homes faster and more affordably
Together, these measures could save homebuyers up to $200,000 off the cost of a new home.
