Very moving to see Morley Community Church full to the brim for their Remembrance Service yesterday. 🧵

He told us of the bravery and sacrifices made by 255 British soldiers, which included two of his close friends; Michael "Blue" Nowak and Paul Callan. I was privileged to lay a wreath at the Two Sisters memorial on Nigel’s behalf during my visit to the Falklands in August.

It was an absolute honour to see him yesterday, and to pay tribute to more of our local fallen heroes, commemorated at the Church. We will remember them.

It was good to catch up with Leeds Youth Service who were handing out a seemingly endless supply of pumpkins outside my office. I then joined Leeds MPs in a meeting with Donna Ockenden who is leading the maternity enquiry in Leeds for an update on her work so far.

⛪️ Looking forward to meeting up with members of Morley Community Church tomorrow for their Remembrance Service. I’ll be out trick-or-treating with my boys later on, so if you see me around, please say hello. Hope you’ve all had a great week.
