Trump is about to throw millions of people off their Medicaid. He stripped away tax credits that helped millions more afford their insurance. And his Supreme Court rolled back the clock on reproductive rights.   His legacy is making care harder to afford and harder to access.

Spent last week in Hampton Roads sharing updates on my work for military families – including launching a new pilot AI tool to connect families to local, personalized guides to access benefits tailored to their situation. I’m going to keep pushing to get real points on the board for Virginians & military families.

Wow. The Iran War has cost taxpayers at least $47.1 BILLION… plus the $100 billion+ in extra costs at the gas station. Every day, we foot the bill for Trump’s ego-driven war of choice.

The midterms are right around the corner, and Trump’s Justice Department is doing everything it can to sow doubt in our elections. We all must show up in record numbers next Tuesday to say enough is enough.

While Trump admits he doesn’t give a damn about gas prices…  his oil and gas stocks gained tens of millions of dollars in the past year. He gets rich while Americans pay the price.

Next year, 300,000+ Virginians are likely to lose their Medicaid because of Trump’s cuts. It’s unconscionable. While Trump gets billions richer, he purposefully strips Americans of their health care. We MUST reverse these cuts.

Americans are already paying too much for everyday essentials. Grocery stores, airlines, and other companies should not be able to use folk’s personal data and AI to squeeze every last penny out of them.

When Trump’s awful tax bill takes full effect next year, 300,000+ Virginians are at risk of losing Medicaid. We must fight these cuts & get to universal coverage. It was good to convene state and local leaders in Richmond last week to continue our fight to protect health care.

This harvest season, Virginia farmers have had to pay $2,000 more to fill their diesel tanks than they did last year. Trump’s war of choice is driving up fuel costs and making it harder for farmers to make ends meet.

Housing costs are reaching record highs, putting even more strain on families already struggling with rising prices. That’s why I helped write and pass the bipartisan ROAD to Housing Act that will make housing more affordable for veterans, renters, first-time homebuyers, and families across Virginia.

Spent my weekend celebrating Hampton Roads’ incredible sailors and storied naval tradition at Fleet Fest! It was great to thank so many servicemembers and honor the enormous contributions of our military.

Trump is now directing the Justice Department to try and sow chaos in Alaska’s election. We must speak up to protect our free and fair elections.

We’ve been warning for months they would try to interfere in the fair administration of our elections.   Now, the president admits he personally directed the Department of Justice to intervene in a state’s election before the votes have even been counted.   Under our Constitution, the president doesn’t get to decide who wins elections. The voters do.
