Transmission utilities have unjustly overcharged electric customers for 10 years. Massachusetts residents should not have to wait a day more for the refunds they are owed.
BREAKING: I’m calling on the transmission utilities to stop the delays and return the $1.5 billion they owe to customers. Massachusetts families shouldn’t have a wait another winter for the money they’re owed.

We're calling on the transmission utilities to return $1.5 billion in excess profits to New England electric customers immediately. With winter approaching and families concerned about high energy bills, utilities need to stop delaying and give customers their money back.

No one should be afraid to turn on the heat when costs are high. We are working across the administration & with our partners to launch new programs that will lower energy bills for low- and middle-income customers and help keep families warm this winter. Mass.gov/heatinghelp
While Donald Trump drives up energy costs, I'm doing everything I can to save you money. Ahead of a cold winter, I’m declaring a State of Energy Emergency to boost heating assistance, help middle-class families pay for oil, and take charges directly off your bills.
