Stay Tuned...
Why is mainnet migration taking time?
Because the work doesn't end when the code is ready.
In the October AMA, the team said most technical migration work had been completed, while exchange coordination remained a major part of the process.
The migration approach may also evolve, potentially allowing two main chains to communicate during the transition rather than relying on a single one-off switch.
No November completion date was confirmed.
Would you prefer a rushed migration or a carefully managed transition?

The market has been frightening enough lately. So, for October's AMA, we decided to make Halloween official. 🎃
Behind the costumes, though, were some very real questions.
Exchange delistings. Market conditions. Liquidity and funding. Mainnet migration. BioData quality, security and privacy.
We won't pretend everything is easy, or that every challenge has been resolved.
But difficult times are also when a team needs to keep thinking, building and finding a way forward.
This October AMA is a conversation about where Matrix stands, what we're working through, and what comes next.
Let's bring some energy back to the community. What would you most like to see Matrix deliver next?
#MatrixAINetwork #BioData
Let's address the uncomfortable subject.
The October AMA included a direct question about Matrix following its delisting from KuCoin and MEXC.
The conversation acknowledged the concern and discussed the wider exchange landscape, including other exchange channels and the DEX direction.
A delisting is serious. It affects confidence, access and liquidity. Pretending otherwise helps nobody.
But should the future of a blockchain project be judged by its exchange listings alone?

A little Halloween humour from the October AMA.
Owen was asked how it felt wearing the mask.
His answer? A bit suffocating. 😄
Fair enough. Some things are uncomfortable, even when they look good.
But the real discomfort of this month wasn't the costume. It was the difficult market and the challenges Matrix had to address.
Sometimes a little humour helps us face serious things. What helps you keep perspective during a difficult period?

The AI trade is being asked a brutal question: where is the return on all that spending?
There’s another question the industry hasn’t answered nearly as well:
Who can prove the data going into these models is what they claim to be?
A bigger model can amplify good data. It can also amplify bad assumptions.
Which is the more underrated AI bottleneck: compute or evidence?
#MatrixAINetwork #AI
I won't pretend nine years never made me doubt this.
There were stretches where the price fell, the market looked elsewhere, and the quiet question sat there: what if I'm just wrong? Any honest founder has felt it.
What kept me in wasn't blind faith. It was going back to the actual problem, who owns the data your body makes, and finding it still unsolved, still mattering more each year. The doubt never won because the problem never went away.
Here’s a design decision I’m proud of, in plain terms.
We built the new Matrix chain so that every time someone uploads their biodata, a small amount of MAN is destroyed. Permanently. Written into the protocol, not a policy anyone can reverse.
Most tokens quietly print more of themselves. We built one that gets scarcer the more it’s actually used. I wanted the token’s health tied to real usage, not to my promises. Promises are cheap, and I’ve watched too many of them break.
I think a lot about the people who held through nine years of this.
Not the ones chasing the next thing. The ones who read the actual thesis, understood what we were building, and decided it was worth waiting for. Some of them I've never met. Some have been in our channels longer than some of my employees.
Whatever Matrix becomes, it exists because they didn't leave. I don't forget that.
Nineteen billion dollars got liquidated across crypto earlier this month. People asked if I was worried.
I’ve held MAN since 2017. I’ve watched this token lose more value, more times, than most projects ever live to see. I didn’t sell then and I didn’t flinch now.
Volatility isn’t the risk. Building something real that never ships is the risk. One of those I can control. So that’s where I put my attention.
Sunday evening has a special talent.
It can turn a perfectly good weekend into a countdown to Monday. 😂
Maybe the real flex isn't squeezing more productivity out of every hour. Maybe it's having enough energy left to enjoy the life you're working so hard to build.
Sleep well. Go outside. Call someone you miss.
What's one thing you're leaving for next week — without feeling guilty about it?
#MatrixAINetwork #Weekend
Weekend plans: sleep in, eat something good, ignore a few notifications.
Funny how we spend so much time staring at screens tracking our lives, while sometimes forgetting to actually live them.
Your sleep, your habits, your environment, your health, life leaves traces everywhere. But not every part of life needs to become a metric.
What's one thing you're doing this weekend that no app needs to track?
#MatrixAINetwork #Life
🤖 Made with AI
I don’t think of Matrix as a crypto project. I never have.
I think of it as the answer to one question I couldn’t let go of: when your body becomes the most valuable data source on earth, who owns it?
Right now the answer is: whoever holds the server. I’ve spent nine years trying to make the answer: you.
That’s the whole thing. Everything else is implementation.
The hardest part of building infrastructure nobody’s asking for yet isn’t the technology.
It’s the years. Building something the market won’t need until later means being wrong in public for a long time before you’re right once.
I don’t romanticize it. Most days it’s unglamorous work on a problem few people see. But the four things that make biology tradeable, provenance, consent, quality, liability, don’t build themselves, and nobody else was doing it.
So we did. Quietly. For nine years.
From the 1st Bi-Weekly Report of October | EVM Infrastructure
A network can appear healthy while important warning signs go unnoticed.
That's why operational visibility matters.
Our latest EVM development includes:
• Enhanced node-status monitoring
• Logging for critical transactions
• Records of anomalous behaviour
Monitoring helps identify issues. Logs help investigators understand what happened.
Neither guarantees that failures will never occur.
But without visibility, even diagnosing a problem becomes harder.
Reliable infrastructure needs more than uptime. It needs observability.

1st Bi-Weekly Report of October 2026 | The Bigger Picture
A biological signal is collected.
But collection is only the beginning.
The longer journey involves protecting the data, establishing its identity, recording its provenance, governing access, and enabling responsible use.
That's why our BioData development is working toward a foundation that connects:
Data → Encryption → Hash → Registry → Authorized Use
Not every step is complete, and a registry alone doesn't make data an asset.
But the infrastructure matters.
The future of BioData isn't just about collecting more. It's about building better ways to protect, verify, and use what we collect.

From the 1st Bi-Weekly Report of October | Building for Responsible BioData Use
BioData could support scientific research and AI development.
But potential usefulness doesn't mean unrestricted access.
Who can access the data?
For what purpose?
Under whose authorization?
Our current development is laying the groundwork for permission interfaces to support future user authorization, research access, and AI model training.
These capabilities are still being developed.
The goal isn't simply to make data available. It's to build the infrastructure for access to be governed.

From the 1st Bi-Weekly Report of October | BioData Registry
What if biological data could become verifiable digital infrastructure without putting the raw data directly on-chain?
Our development is establishing a foundational workflow:
Raw Data → Encryption → Hash → On-Chain Registry
Each step has a role in the data lifecycle.
The aim is to establish a foundation for registering BioData while keeping raw data off-chain by default.
One important distinction: a hash can help verify data integrity. It does not, by itself, prove that the original data is accurate or that every privacy risk has been eliminated.
Useful data needs more than storage. It needs a responsible architecture.

Your EEG reveals patterns of brain activity.
Your HRV reflects variations in heart rhythm.
Your SpO₂ measures blood oxygen saturation.
This isn't ordinary transactional data.
It deserves a different approach to privacy.
In our latest BioData development, raw data is not uploaded directly to the blockchain by default.
The principle is simple:
Make data useful without making unnecessary exposure the price of using it.

A smart contract works.
Good.
But what happens when something goes wrong?
Can access to critical functions be controlled?
Can the contract be paused when necessary?
Can exceptional conditions be handled?
Our latest EVM development includes enhanced access controls and contract pause and exception-handling mechanisms.
Because good infrastructure isn't designed only for the happy path.
It's designed with the unhappy path in mind.
