This photo was taken in front of Vista Maria's Warren Avenue campus in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. Behind and across the street from us we placed a billboard to remind the community and Vista Maria leadership that we will no longer be silent about the abuse of children occurring anywhere and especially not in our own backyard. All the women in this photo are survivors of Vista Maria as teenagers. All have suffered at the hands of adults whose job it was to protect them when they were vulnerable youth. These women are not only survivors... they are warriors. And we will not stop supporting these brave women until justice is served.
