It's a bittersweet farewell from our Social Media Manager, Taylor Harris! 🎡😭 "This year’s theme for the N.C. State Fair is “a memory worth making, a story worth telling,” and my seven years at both the N.C. State Fair and the NCDA&CS has been exactly that. Putting seven years of memories and stories into one blog post is nearly impossible, but I will do my best to recap this incredible chapter of life." Congratulations to Dan Danford on being named the Superintendent of the Year! 🎉 Dan has been superintendent of the N.C. Flower Show since 2019 where he oversees the coordination, evaluation, and presentation of hundreds of plant-based exhibits that reflect both the state’s agricultural heritage and its evolving horticultural practices. In the past two years, he has worked tirelessly and adapted quickly to new building layouts, displays and more. According to N.C. Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler, "the N.C. State Fair Flower Show is one of the most photographed areas of the fairgrounds and that is in large part to the effort that Dan and his team put into the show each year." Congratulations Dan and thank you for all of your hard work! #NCStateFair
