I sat with a Pennsylvania family who buried their son. He got a rare cancer.
He wasn't the only one. Other young people in his town got rare cancers too. They grew up surrounded by fracking wells.
The gas companies are still drilling next door. Stop fracking in residential communities.

"One thing I’ve heard repeatedly from AAPI community members is that they feel invisible in our politics and that needs to change. Too often, politicians overlook communities until they need their votes and many AAPI voters haven’t been contacted by either party.
I believe that no community should have to fight to get candidates who hope to be their leaders to pay attention,” said Nixon, who has fliers in multiple languages, including Mandarin Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Spanish and Haitian Creole.
Angie nixon corrected them with only one tweet. Imagine what she can do in the senate!

Miami Herald: CBS News says it “did not accurately portray” Angie Nixon’s Cuba views
CBS News triggered a domino effect of Democratic denunciations of the Castro regime after claiming Monday that Democratic Senate candidate Angie Nixon declined to call the communist country a dictatorship, then later deleting its post on social media because it “did not accurately” portray her answer.

Good schools, universal healthcare and wages you can live on. Republicans call it “communism” because they’d rather scare people than explain why they’re fighting against it.
AOC and Angie Nixon are making the case for a government that serves working people. That’s what the oligarchs are afraid of.

Even Republicans say AOC’s political appeal is being underestimated — and efforts to make her a boogeyman are falling flat
“It doesn’t help us,” one senior GOP operative working on midterms told Playbook, calling her appeal “better than a lot of politicians. Better than most Republicans.”

When we send @TroyJackson207 to DC, we won’t settle for scraps. Neither will he. We’re demanding Medicare For All, higher wages, universal childcare & housing that people can actually afford.
That’s why the billionaire class is so desperate to stop this movement. They will fail.

It’s disappointing to have to say this, but @CBSNews, this is a serious failure of editorial reporting. I clearly state in this clip that while I have not personally been to Cuba, I have spoken with Cubans who have described it as a dictatorship, and I believe them. To claim I declined to answer the question is categorically false. That is not journalism. It is misinformation.

The Atlantic: Bernie Sanders Is Suddenly Everywhere
Mid-October in an election year is not usually Sanders’s busy season. The Vermont senator last had a tough race in his home state during President Bill Clinton’s first term. And although Sanders can draw a crowd like few other progressive politicians, Democratic candidates typically embrace him during primaries and then stick him on the sideline for the stretch run, when they’re rediscovering their love of capitalism and bipartisanship.
This fall, however, Sanders is in far more demand than usual. He’s campaigning for Democrats in some of the most competitive battlegrounds, entrusted not only with juicing turnout on college campuses—his assigned role in earlier years—but with persuading voters in Republican-leaning areas as well. From Maine, Sanders headed to Florida and then on to Texas and Michigan.
That Sanders finds himself, a decade after his first run for the presidency, arguably at the peak of his influence is all the more remarkable given that he recently turned 85 and that Democrats have spent the past two years wringing their hands over their party’s gerontocracy.

So at this point in 2018, Dems were losing early voting by 3 in Florida. They ended up losing the Senate race by .1%.
This year they are losing the early vote by only .4%. FLORIDA IS IN PLAY. ANGIE NIXON CAN WIN. Explains why AOC and Bernie are spending so much time there.
Florida early voting update:
Early in-person turnout among Republicans has fallen off a cliff.
At R+0.4, the total early vote in the state is about as blue as 2018, 5 points higher than this point in 2022, and 10 points higher than in 2024.
