There’s no earnings call for a housing market, but there’s plenty to research. If you already follow US stocks, housing has its own fundamentals to get to know: who’s buying, how much is being built, and how quickly homes are selling. @ParclLabs lets you follow those signals across US housing markets. On Parcl V4, you can take a long or short position on listed US home-price indices, without buying a property.

New York’s sellers are holding firm. The year-end housing bets look more cautious. Inside New York City, 28% of listings have cut their asking price, according to Parcl Labs. The two leading outcomes in @Polymarket's quarterly NYC market both put the year-end home-value benchmark below $458K, compared with around $468K today.
NEW YORK: Shocking that NYC is the third most stubborn housing market in the country It’s the only major metro in the top 10. Chicago is next at #16, with home prices roughly half NYC’s. Some serious pricing power New York or nowhere?

The housing index says one price. Why might your trade fill at another? On Parcl V4, three prices have different jobs: Index is Parcl Labs’ housing-price benchmark, quoted per square foot and updated daily. Mark is the reference used to calculate your open position’s profit or loss. It can match the index or differ from it. Your entry price comes from the orders your trade fills against. Available prices, size and your order’s limits all matter. Even while the housing index stays unchanged, the prices available to buy or sell can move.

Two-thirds of investor home purchases came from small corporate buyers in the first half of 2026. Realtor.com’s latest report also found that large and mega investors were net sellers over the same period. @ParclLabs adds a more recent look at the large landlords. In Q3, the eight rental-home operators in its tracker bought 572 homes and sold 4,395. Every one sold more than it bought. The biggest landlords are only one part of the buyer picture. That matters when you’re putting money behind your view on US home prices.
