Meet City of Los Angeles HCM #130: The Samuel-Novarro House! This was the longtime home of Mexican-born actor Ramón Novarro, designed by architect Lloyd Wright in 1928. The house touts a physical marker through City Planning’s initiative, HPLA Revealed: Latino Los Angeles.

In 2022, Mayor Bass issued Executive Directive 1 (ED 1) to expedite affordable housing production in Los Angeles. To date, over 35,000 affordable homes were entitled, averaging 52 days of review time per project (within the target of 60 days or less).
