The new UK porn laws are REALLY bad, yes. But there has also been a TON of misinformation regarding them. The list of kinks that’s being shared around as what is being “banned in the UK” is actually just a list of what the website IWantClips has banned, this is not a piece of official govt legislation, the screenshot LITERALLY says IWantClips at the top.
Every website is going to act accordingly to how risk averse they want to be when it comes to these laws. The legislation itself is so obtuse and broad that websites are just being ultra safe to avoid fines or legal troubles.
Also, the laws are NOT affecting unrealistic depictions of suffocation/strangulation, such as furry art. You do not need to worry about getting comms or drawing art of these things unless you’re drawing hyper realistic scenes of people being suffocated or strangled.
Most likely yes, the categories on that list will be restricted or banned, but so far that list is just what one website has decided they are removing
