Building on what Pras said here, the Top 15 points scorers in FPL so far are: Goalkeepers - 2 (2 Double Digit hauls) Defenders - 7 (12 Double Digit hauls) Midfielders - 3 (7 Double Digit Hauls - Gross 3, Tav 4) Forwards - 3 (4 Double Digit Hauls) Breaking it down even further: Top 10 Defenders Points wise - 15 Double Digit Hauls Top 10 Midfielders - 16 Double Digit Hauls Top 10 Forwards - 14 Double Digit Hauls I wonder if we're just not giving consideration to playing more defenders in our FPL formations but also what about our captaincy lens? Top 15 players in FPL have the most double digit hauls from defenders. Lets even talk top tier assets. Most number of Double Digit hauls: 4 - Tavernier (1 Mid) 3 - MDC, Gross, Pedro, Koustoulas (1 Def, 1 Mid, 2 Fwds) 2: Defenders - 7 (Bogle, Dedic, Hall, Konsa, Tarko, Vusko, White) Mids - 9 (Ayari, Cherki, KdH, Gakpo, Manzambi, Ode, Cunha, Schade, Scott Forwards - 1 (Haaland) Outside of Haaland and his predictability, Defenders and Midfielders are neck and neck on Double Digit hauls at the moment. When there's a tough week for Haaland, I wonder if we need consider defenders in weeks Haaland has a tough game. Doesn't help that contenders who were the heir to Salah's throne - Bruno, Palmer and Saka are all having poor starts to the season so far. Not drawing any conclusions here. Just food for thought.
