The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, inaugurated the Reserve Bank of India’s Data Centre and Cybersecurity Training Institute in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, on October 25, 2026, in the presence of Central and State Government dignitaries, Governor and Deputy Governors of RBI. The Data Centre in Bhubaneswar is equipped to support critical payment systems by combining cutting-edge technology with resilient, sustainable infrastructure and skilled manpower, that will strengthen the security, reliability and efficiency of India’s financial systems. The campus is complemented by a training institute dedicated to training, capacity building and research for staying ahead of evolving cyber risks.
